and ther are another 30 young "potentially" great LBs.. I'm not saying ur wrong but the term is used way to loosely to mean any significance watsoever.. Ur also forgetting De Ceglie who is the next maldini, well aparently.. In all seriousness tho, Bale is unneccessary when we have DeCeglie
i hope u r right but sometimes i have a doubts about our youngsters to return

ofcourse there is doubt.. It's foolish to think they will walk straight in to our first team, yet equally foolish to write them off and prepare them for a co-own on the basis of "oh theyre young, as if they have a chance, we need experience"

Barkuss, Berbatov is GREAT. Amauri is good. Berbatov has singelhandledly screwed Arsenal, Chelsea etc, with sheer technical genius. Amauri is not close to him, even if he can be useful for us, he would mainly be good squad player to have. While someone like Berbatov would rival Zlatan in the best creative forward in the league or one of the best ones in overall, bonafide player in every way, watching him is like watching art at times.

Something that simply shows the difference is many teams will fight for Berba, like Man U, Chelsea wanting him badly (despite their great attack), while hardly anyone will for Amauri. I like Amauri and thinks he deserves more credd then he sometimes get, but lets be realistic, he isnt comparable to Berbatov.

P.S Big bonus that Berba is one of THE coolest players in the game ;)

I prefer Van Der Vaart... he's a more humble person, plus he just look like a juve player. Plus it would make the Juve-Inter feud even more interesting if Ibra stays there.. apparently they don't like each other.

If VDV drops his "pose with another team's jersey every 3 days" then sure, bring him. But if he's to continue his current attitude then you can bet the ultras would kill him.

You would be too if you were playing with simpletons ;)

Nah, its more of a laid back persona then real laziness. Isnt any hindrance, he still assists like no other and toys with defenders, technical wizard if there was one.

Chelsea will most likely buy him to replace Drogba. But if it doesnt happen, I wouldnt like if we end up paying 20m for Amauri, if steep upgrade (as in having Zlatan quality instead of decent one) in Berbatov can be had for 25-30m.

Taste of this dominating wizard, some need it badly if they even think for a second Amauri is comparable:

Imagine if Buffon was seen posing with a Man Utd jersey one day, and another day with a Barcelona jersey. Imagine him then giving 4-5 interviews about how it is his dream to play for Man Utd. Then how he would be over the moon to join Barca.

wouldn't that piss you off? Now you know how the Hamburg fans must feel like

That would be unthinkable..

But vdV never joined Hamburg with the intention of staying a long time, i remember when he first joined them he said that they were the ideal "in between" (not in those words, but to that affect) club meaning the he was bound to be one day in the near future asking for a major European club

True, Berb is one heck of a player, for me he's the second best striker in the league after Torres. His problem is that he can be lazy at times, and really frustrating when he's not in the mood.
