Diego is one of the most player I've ever wanted. But why really insist? He has stated that 10x now that he's into Real Madrid more than anything. And he'd rather stay with Bremen than play in Serie A or EPL.

Let him go.
Well said... everything lies on which club Diego wants and then how much Bremen would ask for his selling...

He has probably said he wants to play in Spain somewhere, But Real Madrid don't need him.

If someone needs him, its Atletico.
As if that is gonna stop Real Madrid from buying him, seriously?.. If they want him and im positive they do they'll throw the cash to get him

VDV said he wants to quit HSV in an interview recently. I think he will end up here. I cannot backup my theory, but I have this feeling this is the surprise we are going to get.
Sadly the other one is Amauri IMO.
Van Der Vaart sorry - I was thinking about Diego... besides I connect the two always... (guess why?) :)

Newcastle United enter £15million Diego hunt
06:28 April, 17, 2008
Newcastle United Football Cub are the latest to be linked with Diego.

The Werder Bremen playmaker has become one of the most sough after players in European football, with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Juventus and Real Madrid being linked in recent weeks.

And it has now emerged in rumours from Germany that Kevin Keegan is keen to take the £15million-rated player to St James Park, although he has his work cut out trying to persuade him to leave Germany.

"I feel very comfortable in Bremen and I am not thinking about my future," Diego told bild.de.

"I have a contract for three years and there is no reason to leave."

i think he will join Madrid...its inevitable...they can't get Kaka so they will definitely want to reunite Diego with Robinho
If milan didn't make it to champions league next year, am pretty sure kaka won't stay with them. He never said it in public but i think kaka is really interested to play in madrid. I'd say there is a 90% chance he'll leave milan in the summer and thats why IMO madrid r not moving fast for diego till now, they want to wait for this chance.......
