Bremen are topping the bundsliga and diego the scorer table and that must be for a reason.
last summer secco gave away several good players because he didnt want to pay the extra million and ended up buying medicore players and a player with a knee history

To be honest, i don't think diego will come to juve. I think all the buzz about him is to lower the price for VDV. But i'm ok with that. i DO believe that diego is better, but considering that we have giovinco, we could give vdv another 3 years and by that time, giovinco will have improved A LOT, and will be more than ready to replace VDV. Signing diego (22yrs) would not be too logical.

Why wouldnt it be logical? It would the hard to get him, but its very logical to sign a brilliant playmaker. You pointed out Diego's age, do you mean in reference to being too young for Giovinco to come and replace him? Which makes no sense because VDV is just few years older too, isnt anywhere old.

besides Camo isn't getting any younger. so having two young players in VDV/Diego and Gio would save us the headache of looking for replacements.

VDV will be 28 in february. Diego is 22. Giovinco is 21 if i remember correctly. If we should sign VDV. he'll play 'til 30 or so (i don't believe VDV is the kind of player that will stay 'attached to the shirt' and go on playing. let's say he'd play for 3 seasons. by that time, giovinco will be 23 or 24. perfect age. he could come back, maybe 1 season earlier, and switch with vdv, learn from him, and i'd say we would have taken the best out of seba. Should we sign (and hold) Diego, there will be no room for gio. and i'd say spending those 10 mill more (cost of diego in comparison to VDV) is not worth having the trequartista-position filled with those two talents, especially if we have other gaps to fill.

Guys, the board also gotta consider the players' market value, meaning the money they can bring to the club from their shirt sales/commercials etc. And I think Diego has an edge over VDV here.

VDV will be 28???? VDV 28???? (the same VDV who I saw as 16 year old youth player around 2000)No shit you are talking about him in different age group then Diego. You are making it sound like there is 6 years difference between Diego and VDV when there isnt even 6 years age difference between VDV and Giovinco.

VDV is 24 (25 in feb), two years older then Diego (23 in feb) and 4 older then Giovinco. You seem to have gotten it a bit backwards.

Giovinco is a very versatile player and can play as a; Attacking Midfielder, Supporting Striker or Left Winger (Nedved's Replacement if you wish to call it that way). So I believe it can work.

PS: But if Diego doesn't arrive I would love to have Hatem Ben Arfa as Nedved's replacement. He is young and talented. Secco should offer Tiago(€12million)+ Boumsong(€3million)+€10million euros for Ben Arfa
