We can now, forget the news about Diego now, there was not any real, recent comments in him by our managers and he was always looking a non realistic target,i guess we have to please our selves with Giovinco and Marchisio and close this thread, stop dreaming with your eyes open!!
to be honest, i agree with this post. on a positive note thou ia m glad we have giovinvo and marchisio both are going to be excellent players for juventus. its about time really we start using home grown talents like these 2.

if diego does turn out to be a true bid i will be happy but if its just like gabriel milito, ivanovic, crouch, aguerro, vander vaart.............. the list goes on and on i wont be pissed off not one bit. i am pretty sure ia m not the only one who is getting fed up with the amount of players linked to a move to juventus. if the management want a player say ivanovic i say we move our asses quickly cos we really dont want another gabriel milto story like this summer when barca got on and toke him and left us with cristico, boum boum, and legreo.

Its from tribalfootball but i`ll post it anyway, who knows maybe its true this time. :p

Juventus to sell big to fund Diego bid

Juventus are ready to sell four of their senior players to fund a bid for Werder Bremen star Diego.

Tuttosport says Juve hope to cash in on Jean Alain Boumsong, Sergio Almiron, Jonathan Zebina and Marco Marchionni in the winter market.

With the money raised, Juve will bid for Brazil ace Diego, who Werder insists won't leave Germany for anything less than £20 million.

Sounds good to me but selling fringe players such as Boum, Almiron, Olivera & Zebina & Marchionni sounds good in theory but then we would need to buy 3 or 4 players to replace them, and if we want anyone decent we will hardly make a profit, if any

yes,we dont have to spend to make any replacements,we can always call back our youngsters,Marchisio,Giovinco,De Ceglie..i think those are enough to cover those who are mentioned to be leaving..however Marchionni should definitely stay..

Why keep a player that is always injured and isn't fundemantal to the team. We might as well sell him and get some money out of him. We have Salihamidzic, Palladino, Nedved, Iaquinta, Camoranesi who can play wide.

True, but Marchionni is still young enough to become a fundamental part of our team & he does show signs of becoming a pretty handy player as he was at Parma 2 years ago.. If he can keep himself fit you might change ur opinion about him

although i like juve to get diego to add creativity but i dont think it will happen for 2 reasons , the first he is expensive and the second and more important juve dont like brazilian players.

We dont like Brazilians because they dont know how to defend, but our new managers said we want to change our profile, as a team and sacrifice a bit of our super solid defensive type of playing, into a more offensive and spectacular approach, that would bring the fans and lost popularity back.
Diego would be the ideal choice, if we really want that and want to invest that much, Giovinco could fill his shoes when Diego will be suspended/injured,
a new playmaker era, might start and the Platini/Zidane legacy may go on...

We need Marchionni, Neddy seems that wont be a first choice player next year, Palla and Iaquinta will rest DP even more...

There is absolutely no way in hell to sell all those players within a small transfer period in a decent price, not even Moggi could pull that...

We still play the same football. Boring, ugly, unattractive as hell. Directors are full of shit. But as long as we get the results, I can´t complain much......

Nedved is retiring after this season, is he not?

True, but our current material doesnt offer any real alternative solutions, our current playmaker would be Olivera:rofl: , we are loaded up with 4-5 wingers and 3-4 DMs,
so we have to play the flat 4-4-2. This was choice made, in the summer transfer period, we couldnt invest more money and a buy a good player like Diego, for various reasons...
But the situation might change this summer, our income will be double, our goals will be higher, hopefully we will have the right to participate in CL and ability to attract more quality players...From the 200mil available for transfers in 3-4 years, we ve spent only the 30, hopefully this year we will spend as never before...
We have now the chance to change things around, a chance we never had before,
new coach, new managers, new players, new era:toast:
Ranieri's 4-3-3 is bold enough for our standards, its a good start...

Nedved is retiring after this season, is he not?
The guy keeps changing his mind, if we are CL contenters, he might stick around for one more season, Neddy is a fighter, if he is healthy and feels that he can help, even as a super sub, he will stay!
He loves Juve, he stayed in serie B and declared after that,
he still feels that he owe us:cry:
One way or the other, he wont be a starter...

I prefer super solid defensive type of playing=Scudetti
Defensive football is in our DNA and i agree that right now, the results should be priority number one, to re-establish us, as soon as possible, between the top clubs.
Though... our managers are a bunch of inexperienced noobs/romantic fools and our owners dont really care about our club and i dont see them investing the sums, they boasted(hope i m wrong here, but the signs are here). They need more income, so they would invest less money,or even make a profit out of Juve.
They know that we cant compete with Milan's clubs,in transfers, influence and investments,
so they wont be able to compete with then for the championship...
Thats why, they have chosen to upgrade or stadium (a cheap upgrade, using state's and sponsors money) and bring a coach that would try bold tactics, that would hopefully attract more fans, despite sacrificing some results/performance.
The situation with the fans is tragic right now, no CL cash makes the situation look even worse, thankfully, the TV rights problem has been resolved and we can hope that there is a little space for some limited investments/player material upgrades
