even then he was doing good for villareal, not great.

Villa WAS valencia. he was instrumental for spain in 08 and 2010. his age is not a factor considering his quality. nedved has his best seasons between 30-33 years of age. I thought Del piero had his best 2 seasons ever between 07-09 when he was 33-34.

we dont know yet how good "off villa" is. i'm very reserved about that one

Del piero's best season was 1997/1998 hands down. he was the best player of the world. hence better then zidane and ronaldo that year.
