As for the Trez issue i really wouldnt want him to leave but if he's thought about it hard enough & really wants to go then so be it.The man has offered so much to this team & considering he's stuck with the club during relegation nobody can judge him if he seeks greener pastures. That being said his experience & winning mentality are something that the younger players can really learn from not to forget his 20+ goals a season when fit.

If he wants to go & we can secure Benzema it would be an excellent transfer as at his age Juve wouldnt command a huge transfer fee not to forget the financial situation.Other than that if he chooses to stick with the club ill gladly forget about Benzema if it means he retires a Juve legend.

I was shocked by Trezeguet's outburst after the champions league game. Never in the past have I thought to criticize him any more seriously than labeling him lazy and often apparently disinterested....To temper that though, his contribution to our team, for many years, has been phenomenal. He has the nose of a bloodhound when it comes to sniffing out goal scoring opportunities, and his heading ability has always been a threat to opponents.

However, what he said about Ranieri, was disrespectful and not what I have come to expect over the many years I have supported Juve, of their players. In the heat of the battle, I can understand why he was distraught, but the day after, or whenever it was that he made the comments that have caused so much distress, for himself and the club, is inexcusable. And I dont understand why he decided to do something which he knew would cause trouble.

Having been out of action for so long, he started our most important game for 3 years, setting up a goal but looking largely anonymous for the rest of the game. His substitution made sense. With chiellini sent off, taking another player from midfield or defence would have invited chelsea deep into our half. Ranieri played it safe, and swapped like for like...I wold have kept trezeguet on the field, but that isn't the point here. The problem is a player not only criticizing the coach but also blaming him directly for the defeat.

Its a shame. Because now he is near fit once again, his goals would have been useful for the team as we chase Inter and hope to gain enough momentum to overturn the scoreline in our favour for the coppa and then sweep to victory in the final, which unless Samp lose their nerve, will be very winnable. If Trez isn't right in the head, he will be useless to us. Its more a shame for him than the club. and we can forgive, but I have not read anything regarding an apology...

No player is bigger than the club. Would we ever hear Del Piero expressing such sentiments*** I don't think so. though for sure at times he would feel similar.

Thankfully, although Amauri is OUT, we have Iaquinta fit, who is more than capable of scoring goals and adding muscle and power to the front line.

I just don't understand why he deliberately set out to undermine his own position at the club he has loved, and been loved by in return, for so many years...

Trez maintains Ranieri silence

David Trezeguet confessed he has not yet spoken to Claudio Ranieri, as Juventus prepare a fine for his outburst.

The striker complained bitterly to French newspaper L’Equipe last week about his substitution in the final minutes of the 2-2 draw with Chelsea, prompting Ranieri to call him “a spoilt child.”

Trez was out of the squad for Saturday’s Serie A game against Bologna due to an injury, so today the two men worked together for the first time since that incident in training.

Did I speak to Ranieri? No,” was his response when walking out of the session this evening.

Director Alessio Secco also attended the training ground, but did not hold court with Trezeguet either, though the player’s father and agent did sit in the stands.

It is reported the delay is so the club can come together and work out how much they will fine the Frenchman.

A meeting is said to be scheduled either tonight or in the morning with general manager Jean Claude Blanc.

The matter cannot be allowed to slide for too long, as Juve desperately need forwards for the trip to Roma.

Amauri is out for six weeks, so this leaves only Alessandro Del Piero, Vincenzo Iaquinta and possibly Sebastian Giovinco, who until now has been used as a wide midfielder.

i don't and i will tell you why.........

over the years we have seen many fall-out between coaches and players, usually it was happening at Inter and we all laughed. why?because it showed that they were feeling the pressure, we knew that if there was tension between the players and the coach that it would, eventually, affect performances.
when Capello was in charge he treated Del Piero with contempt, he nearly pushed the man out of the club but Alex didn't say anything publicly, he just got his head down, fought for his place and remained a dignified silence.
at Juventus we expect ALL of our players to show a level of maturity, dignity and unity that does not exist at the other clubs, Trezeguet broke ranks and mouthed off publicly and he should know better, if the club are not strong on this then we will have much bigger problems further down the line

While that may be the case,Trez speaking out like that shows there are deep underlying issues in the club.Obviously he doesnt have enough respect for the coach nor the directors. This crap would never have gone down while the triade was around & even though Juve are seen as "clean" it clearly shows that there is a lack of credibilty & respect.

Theres a completely relaxed attitude from the coach to the BOD.Issues like constant injuries, sub standard transfer campaigns & a clear lack of ambition. These are points that need to be addressed which are being overlooked.Thank goodness we have a captain Ale that leads by example other wise this kind of incident wouldnt be the last.

I can assure you that our star players are just as annoyed at the quality of players being signed to keep the team competitive & if Secco doesnt sign one quality player come the end of the season he should expect unpleasant reactions from the players & fans alike.

oh for sure Byron but this sort of thing should always be kept "in house" i doubt everyone was content when ancelotti was in charge, or even capello but any problems were dealt with away from the media. Trez was here for all of this and he should know that the image of togetherness can strike fear into opponents who know that the team are united, Trezie speaking out did not just undermine the coach or the board but theTEAM, and that is unacceptable

I think respect for the directors will come with time. The coach I dont know. I do know if Lippi or Mourinho were our coach Trez would not have said anything. I think our players think they are bigger than our coach and while this maybe true it should never happen. That is just another reason why a team like Juventus need a big name coach who commands the respect of his players .. or even an explayer who can do the same (although I would not want this as they might lack experience).

Trez made a mistake but Ranieri needs to forget this and move on. They have both made their point but we now need Trez in the starting 11 to finish off the season. They can worry about who stays and who goes over the summer.

I dont condone what he did but I think those are the reasons he went a bit off.Lets not forget any professional club is run like a business & every business should do a year end review on key points.

The injury issue is absolute BS & even though its part of football, our injury list was certainly avoidable. These players are assets & if they are continously injured they lose value. Can the club really afford to be paying salaries while players are out?

As for the last two transfer campaigns they werent that great & although we did achieve excellent results with the current squad it sends out all the wrong signals.Mediocre signings send the message that the club is not ambitious enough to both fans & prospective players. At the end of the day signing quality players not only enhances the teams chances of gaining silverware but they also bring in more money with the sale of merchandise & increased season tickets.

Thank god im not in charge of Juventus because i would make alot of difficult decisions & make alot of enemies. In business when you fail, those in charge need to be held accountable for their failures & not rewarded. Our current directors are too busy trying to win people over instead of doing whats best for the club & most importantly the fans.
