I dont see why we couldnt though, going all gung ho may have been worthwhile.. afterall we were underdogs anyway but it seriously takes some coach with serious balls to take a decision like that. Ranieri isn't much of an ambitious manager, his good at helping to build teams but maybe thats all can be said.

Much can be said about his time at chelsea.. note his first season was awful, second was flourished with over £30 mil spent on new players.. however that said it cant be denied his third season was superb. I personally was a fan of his days at valencia though he had this ability to really outsmart his opponent whilst digging himself through the resources of the rising stars.

However I dont think his half the coach he was, he was more adventurous with tactics and rotation AKA Tinkerman maybe mourinho's words are true.. maybe he his old and although I was pleased with the appointment of ranieri initially, im beginning to feel the problem no matter what lies elsewhere...the board

its a rat face asif, meaning that anyone can conceivably win it. inter isn't that much better than juve talent wise. we have too many injuries and a <insert adjective here> coach. ancellotti, prandelli and spaletti all could be at the top of the table right now but thay aren't better managers than mourinho. and that is what separates teams in serie A, otherwise our league is as watered down and weak as the the U.S. economy right now.
Inter isn't better than Juve talent wise? I'll start with only two examples... Maicon
and Santon and we have Grygera and Molinaro...

They aren't ahead of Juventus either... So they aren't as good as Ranieri... True?

i'm done with this topic, not even jesus could teach the blind to read
I think Jesus isn't teaching you how to read coz you are Hindu :D

We should cash in on him better sooner than later.
I am thankful for every goal Trez has given us, but guys lets be serious: How many games has Trez touched the ball 3 times per halftime and we all were bashing him after the game.
If there is a chance to get Benzema, I wouldn't wait a minute!

Molinaro > Santon.

Santon could become much better, but he isn't yet.

Both Santon and Maxwell are better than Molinaro. The difference between Santon and Molinaro is games and experience. Ability wise Santon is easily better than Molinaro. The only thing Molinaro has over Santon is pace and strength.

I'm not even going to begin comparing Molinaro to Maxwell.

Potential wise Santon is much better than Molinaro and maybe in terms of technical ability as well. When it comes to defending, Molinaro is better. You can't simply disregard experience, pace and strength. That's like saying Sissoko's better than Gerrard if you disregard the latter's technique, passing and shooting.

And do you disagree with me that Maxwell's inferior to Molinaro in terms of defending?

But i can disregard experience because Santon will gain that in time. Pace and strength are not enough to make you a good defender. Molinaro isn't really as good a defender as you're making him out to be. True he doesn't get skinned easily due to his recovery pace most of the time. But he gives wingers too much space to get a cross in(see Cagilari game for reference where Fini always had all the space in the world to get crosses in).

Maxwell is a solid defender, you're not giving him enough credit here.

I like Maxwell, but Molinaro is better at defending than the Brazilian. Cristian's pace is part of his attributes as a defender, and so is experience. Once again you bring up potential as a factor ("will gain that in time") but that is irrelevant. We're discussing the present.

I refer to this post regarding Molinaro's defending. It's very rare to see opposition players being able to cut into our penalty box when faced against Molinaro:

Sadomin said:
One of the key rules of defending as a fullback is to never let your opponent cut inside. Inevitably this will allow the opposition to send in a few crosses which should be taken care of by the rest of the defence.

I've played fullback for 12 years and even at lower levels it's impossible to stop all crosses. Forcing the opponent to cross into a penalty box with Chiellini, Mellberg and Buffon in first place is a sign of good defending.
