Trezeguet is leaving because we didn't offer him the amount of MONEY he wants. How can you call Cannavaro a mercenary and not Trezeguet? Serious double standards just because you like the guy.

If he wants more money he can go elsewhere. He's not indispensable.
Trezeguet stayed with us in Serie B and never lied to the club and the fans about staying on board, unlike that douche Cannavaro. Now the board is trying to lower his wages by some amount that must be enough to upset Trezeguet, and when you've been a good servant for SEVEN years with a club you shouldn't have to deal with massive wage cuts. Not to mention it seems like the board is disrespecting him as well, just as they did with Deschamps. We're starting to see more and more evidence that just proves our club is run by a bunch of dickarms.

Oh, and moreover, Trezeguet hasn't left yet and talked shit about Juventus as a whole..

This day was supposed to be a happy day for us because we got to seria A again, but now its sad. It is bad that Trez is leaving because he gave us 20 goals per season but i still hope he can be replaced with somebody.

It's funny how many of you people are insulted with Trez gesture and the funnier thing is that almost all of you never saw that gesture before and will have no idea what it means if there wasn't newspapers :disagree: (I didn't knew what it means too, but I'm not found insulted at all. "Insult" was towards the board not the fans, board should find themselves in that insult not the fans)
Exactly, good post.

Let me make a few things clear.

1. I don't think Trezeguet is a traitor or a mercenary or anything like that.
2. I don't want him to leave.

My point is, he's doing the same thing as Cannavaro and you guys bashed Canna for it and don't give two squirts of piss now that it's Trez doing it.

Andy, who cares if Cannavaro lied. I thought you knew better than that. If you don't think politics are involved in football you're wrong. If you think every word a player, coach, agent or board member utters is the truth you're way off. We're not little children, why should petty lies offend us.

The fact of the matter is, both Cannavaro and Trezeguet made reasonable understandable decisions from their points of view. Some of you seem to be unable to understand them because you're looking at it from a fan's perspective. It's unfair to hate Cannavaro and not Trezeguet because what they did/are doing is similar, though I guess different in some ways. What's the answer? Simple, don't hate either of them.

But the name Trezeguet means something in football while the names Venittucci, De Ceglie and Bianco mean nothing.

We don't know if Trez wanted a pay increase. But we know he was offered less then he was getting earlier. That is an insult. He is 29 and he can still be as deadly as he was 4 or 5 years ago. He's not some 36 years old veteran noone wants and who has no choice but to accept a pay decrease

If you remember Trezeguet's last contract negotiations when he was playing mind games for a better deal, at least he didn't do what he did and said today. I think he's known for some time he has something else lined up!

This was Trezeguet's plan all along. Stay in Serie B so he could get a massive wage increase. Good thing my boy Secco is on to him.

The door is that way, Trez.

When did you decide he wants to stay?

He wanted to go last summer and hasn't exactly been very positive about committing for next season, even before the new deal was offered.
Almost everyone wanted to go last summer, Trez wasn't positive so as Gigi and many others and you can't take that in count (Gigi whined more than anyone). And Trez clearly stated he was ready to commit with us and he said it before everyone, but today he said board offered him a ridicoulus contract which means he was negotiating and ready to commit. And according to newspapers they offered him a much lower salary than he have now.

P.S. The sam thing is with Camo, few days ago he also said he got shameful contract offer.

Trezeguet is leaving because we didn't offer him the amount of MONEY he wants. How can you call Cannavaro a mercenary and not Trezeguet? Serious double standards just because you like the guy.

I've never called Canna a mercenary, at least he left to Span and that's what I appreciate and dont put the words in my mouth I didn't told. I at least admit I like the guy, unlike you which is so obvius from your posts.

my post count > your life
It's funny that comes from the guy who is 5 yrs younger than me :rofl1:

:disagree: This has nothing to do with politics. He said he would stay with Juventus even in Serie C2, then a few days later packed his bags for Madrid where he made more money than his previous deal with Juventus. You may not think lying to fans is a big deal, perhaps if this was Moggi I would agree, but Cannavaro made a plea to the fans saying he would stay on board no matter what. The only last thing a man has is his word, so when you lie to the people that support you, you'll receive no respect from me whatsoever. But perhaps honesty is something you don't care about in your life.

The fact of the matter is, both Cannavaro and Trezeguet made reasonable understandable decisions from their points of view. Some of you seem to be unable to understand them because you're looking at it from a fan's perspective. Sorry but this is just nonsense. I have a right to hate Cannavaro and if you wish you could hate Trezeguet as well. You don't have a right to tell people who to like or dislike... that's just incredibly retarded. It doesn't really fucking matter. Fabio Cannavaro is a little punk ass bitch in my opinion, so just deal with it, Stu.
