David Trezeguet's Juventus career could be coming to an end after he launched a scathing attack against the club.

The French striker was speaking after Juve lifted the Serie B trophy after their final game of the season against Spezia.

Trezeguet's future has been up-in-the-air for many months - but it seemed he would prolong his stay in Turin after they secured their promotion back to the top-flight.

However, he has now blasted the club for their treatment of him and that always looked likely as during the game he celebrated the opening goal by counting his goals from the season - an attack aimed at the club's management.

"This club does not respect me. They made a proposal that made me understand they have already made other choices," said Trezeguet

"I have done what Didier Deschamps asked of me: 15 goals. I was here for seven years and in that time earned the trust of over 14 million fans all over the world, plus the confidence of my team-mates.

"Unfortunately, the club has a different viewpoint to mine, so I will leave and take my 140 goals with me, safe in the knowledge I have always given my contribution.

"There is no margin for negotiation now. If they had just told me I wasn't wanted that would have been better than offering me a ridiculous contract. Perhaps someone has doubts over my abilities. I wanted to carry on with Juve, but the club doesn't want me."

Juve's general manager Jean Claude Blanc was quick to respond to Trezeguet's thinly-veiled attack and suggested that the player's future will be decided by the club.

"This is not finished yet," he told Sky Italia.

"He has another year's contract with us, I have always told David that he is part of our history and of the club's future plans - but to continue you have to be part of it too.

"It is very easy to give the club all the responsibilities, he did so with the use of the media - but for me negotiations should not be made public.

"He knows our program, but he must of the right motivation to stay with us.

"We made him a really important offer. In October we made him an offer, but he didn't sign it. It is possible he had another plan on his mind."

Another player whose future at Juve is far from certain is Mauro Camoranesi's.

The Argentine-born Italian international midfielder has two years left on his current contract but talks over a new deal have not gone well.

"With Juve we don't agree. The economical distance between their offer and what we request is big," agent Sergio Fortunato told Corriere dello Sport.

"Camoranesi doesn't like the treatment he's having from Juve.

"We have already had quarrels with the club after they were relegated, but the player still accepted playing in Serie B.

"Camoranesi is now 30-years-old, he wants to play at high levels and deserves to play for a Champions League side."

Three who seem set to be wearing Bianconeri's colours next season are Sergio Almiron, Vincenzo Iaquinta and Antunes.

Iaquinta has been a long-term target for Juve and only the smaller details of the deal remain to be resolved.

"In one, at the most two weeks, we will make official the signing of a major Italian champion," said Juve president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli - hinting at Iaquinta's deal.

Likewise Empoli's Almiron is set to snub interest from Internazionale and Milan.

Juve are said to pay cash whilst loaning Matteo Paro, Sebastian Giovinco and Rey Volpato as part of the deal.

Portuguese full back Antunes is also on his way to Turin.

The two clubs are understood to have agreed a deal with his club Pacos Ferreira and now only personal terms now need to be resolved.

I find it ironic how alot of u are immediately pointing the finger at "management" for Trez being on the verge of leaving. Minus management, Trezeguet and Camo would have been gone last summer.

Stu,

You can't really compare David to Cannavaro, really....David is something and Cannavaro is somethine else, I'll always have respect for David, a player who has given everything for this club, from goals to respect to honor. Not to mention helping our team when we were in-need of it.

I'll really miss Trezeguet If he decided to leave.

Respect David!!!!

Our board is being practical with Trezeguet when they shouldn't something alot of people fail to see. From their point of view Trezeguet is 29 (30 in october) has 1 year left in his contract, meaning that they will get nothing from his departure next year if he see off his contract. And in the same time he is 30 and no player in their mind would renew for a year or two at that age. Another thing is that Trezeguet played in B against his will unlike Buffon, DP, Nedved and still scored 15 goals which is pretty good, not to mention that he has given too much for the club over the past years and also they promised big fat contracts to the players who stayed in B which is what Buffon got a week ago.

All this means that they will have to give a 30 years old a contract that will cost more actually much much more than one for players like Iaquinta, Gilardino, Huntelaar. Younger players who will not get as much as Trez and can more or less do the same job with the team. So what do they do to pull out from it? they treat him like **** in order to make him leave, my guess is that they offered him a contract that they wouldn't offer to a ball boy at the club, a contract that says ''times up, fuck off now''.They want to make him look like the bad guy, they want people to say ''oh well it's his choice and not the management fault'' they want to cash in on him now while they still can and invest his contract in attracting someone younger. This is good business but they forgot the human level and what this player have given to Juventus over the years, what they are doing with Trezeguet is a disgrace to say the least.

i was wondering who would want to buy him from top teams, yes milan clubs, but lets imagine if henry does leave, arsenal has usually had a french striker in their side(wiltord before henry), and wenger is french, maybe arsenal might be interested of trez?
it will be sad to see trez leave, but if he leaves then this might be a good opportunity, surely arsenal will get cash from milan for henry if that deal happens. i rather see trez abroad than in the same league with juventus.
lyon was interested some times ago, but they got baros, still trez is better than fred and wiltord is leaving lyon.

Reports were coming out a lot of times that Trez wanted to extend the contract but the board didn't wanna meet his demands and offered him a 25% lower contract. If all this true then I'm really disgusted with this new board, he was kept against his will because they thought he's gonna score a lot of goals for us, I think they had no intention in keeping him after Serie B. After he accepted this Serie B they can't extend his contract? Fucking assholes.
WTF???
these m*therfucking idiots!! Its a shame to have such a chain:faq1:

Why don't U fuck off Stu and leave this forum to a normal people who can talk without insulting and with good and valid arguments.
:agree:

Where did you guys realised he don't want to play with us. He wants, but the board indirectly told him we don't need him. Got it??
I thik youre right mate

That gesture is very used in europe... Is like when you send someone to hell. We say it like "Vete a la mierda" In Spain they use " A tomar por el culo" in Italy "va via" it means like "FuCK OFF!!" but in this case it meant...."and you sent me to fuck off!"

Juventus, who won their first Serie B match against Vicenza in their home debut, will hope that David Trezeguet (pictured) keeps up his goal scoring form after his first Serie B strike in that game.

“I will fight with my teammates to immediately take Juventus back to Serie A – the fans need to trust me,” said Trezeguet, who is now the top foreign scorer in Juve’s history.

“I’m very happy I scored the opener in the difficult match against Vicenza. I’m honoured to have reached this personal milestone and to have been presented the award by the club here at the Olimpico.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

this is the second time he is saying stuff like this. newspapers can shove it up their asses, this guy is going nowhere AT LEAST till the end of the season.

FORZA TREZEGOL!
The way the management pays him back is by taking a giant shit on him :disagree:
