Ofcourse i have...but man be reasonable with the 4.5 millions per season that he takes we could have a WC who is needed...
enough with him and his usual bench-warming season..if u have some passion left for him you'd pray he'd leave its for his best.
Warming the bench is not usual for Trezeguet. When a player is injured for the majority of a season, its normal for that player to be brought back into first team proceedings very slowly, especially in the case of a player whose main abilities are rooted in his match sharpness. He was frustrated last season. Finally got fit then played in the chelsea game...but fell out with Ranieri the same night. After that, he was sent down the pecking order of strikers. And this was very clearly NOTHING TO DO WITH HIS ABILITY AND EVERYTHING TO DO WITH HIS SPAT WITH RANIERI. If that wasn't the case, ranieri would not have started him the second leg. Especially given he was lacking match sharpness...
Amauri scored a few vital goals last season but overall, he did nowhere near enough to convince me that a decent coach would have him higher in the pecking order than Trezeguet.
Amauri was first choice for the period when Trezeguet was not available...Trezeguet is now available.
I hope they dont sell him. He has given great service to our club and remains one of the most capable goalscorers in the game, at the top level of domestic and european competiton. Yes we are paying him a huge amount, which seems like a waste if he never plays, but why wouldnt he be playing?????
he is 31 not 36. he has a better understanding with DP than any of the other strikers. He is better in the air than all the other strikers, perhaps amauri is close, but not quite there....and he has an immense goal scoring record.
He hated ranieri...so did most of us though.
It is wrong to assume he is our third or even fourth choice striker.
