What's up with all the rumors of swapping Trezeguet with Meeelan shit? It's not like 0000 or 80R13770 are at the same level of him or something.

If we'll sell Trez, Gio will have a lot more time to play... Maybe it's the right point?
Do u all remember, situation when Juve sold Baggio, because of DP? Btw, Baggio was sold to Milan ;-)
Yes, Gio is not direct replacement of Trez, but it seemed to be usual change of generations...

Difference is clear, but is one game we can field Dieo-Trez-Amauri. But if we'll sell Trez we can field Diego-Gio-Amauri, so Gio can play as support forward more often.
We'll have 5 players (Diego,Gio,DP,Amauri,IQ) for 3 positions, and no one from this 5 wont be a benchwarmer.
For some deep we can buy some young and promising forward who'll sit on the bench without problems, not like Trez. Or take this one from Primavera - there are Daud, Immobile, Esposito - all of them can get this chance.

At the end, we have to build new Juve. So we have to say goodbye for some our older players. Some sooner, some later, but it's life.

ps. With all my respect to Trez. He is a great forward, but maybe he have to leave Juve -that will be beter for him (gain place in starting XI) and for Juve.

Milan renew interest in Trezegol

Milan believe they can tempt Juventus into selling David Trezeguet by using Marco Borriello as bait, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Rossoneri are in the market for a target man who can hold on to the ball up front, but have so far seen their efforts to sign one fail.

No 1 transfer target Edin Dzeko told Milan he would be staying with Wolfsburg while Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano is considered 'too expensive.'

Trezeguet is now the alternative, as Juventus are keen to sell players in order to recoup some of the £48m they have spent this summer.

However, the Bianconeri will only part with Trezeguet if the deal suits the club and the player.

Juventus feel indebted to him, as he is the most prolific foreigner ever to play for the club.

The question is, why do Milan want to sell Borriello only a year after signing him back from Genoa?

According to La Gazzetta, Milan grew frustrated with his time in the treatment room last season and would like a striker with different characteristics.

The deal suits Juventus, who are looking to lower their wage bill and the average age of their squad.

Borriello also has his admirers in Turin. Giorgio Chiellini questioned Milan's desire to sign Luis Fabiano when they have a player of Borriello's calibre already in their ranks.

Well lets see...erm Juventus was at its peak when DP was ushered in & the entire team could cover him much like Santon at Inter.DP & Trez are a phenomenal strike partnership & stuck with the club during the worst period in Juventus history.Did you forget that Trez is the most prolific foreigner ever to play for the club?Is that the way legends should be treated?

Giovinco will find his place but its kinda hard to force him into the starting lineup with a rather questionable defence which cant really afford to cover for him if he loses possesion or makes a mistake.

I remember that.
But why treated?
If Trez is ready to play without guaranty of starting XI - that's ok.
But if not - it's better for him to be sold.
We can't guaranty place in XI for all our legends till they pension.

I dont think he's looking for any guarantees. But something that cannot be overlooked is, the fact that Trez himself is a guarantee. I dont think David wants to go. And after such intelligent moves, I dont think Secco wants to make the mistake of negating all the good work by gifting one of the most prolific hitmen in all of the world to a direct competitor. They're down on the mat, and we should keep them there. Somebody made a point about us trading Inzaghi to Milan and we coming off ok. Well, we got close to 20m for that deal, and even had David in our ranks to take his place. In this case, we're getting Borriello, and a few million euros, neither of which can susbtantiate what David has done for this club. His goals and loyalty are priceless. Dont see how we can treat a legend this way. It's just not right.
