like i said, i am not for the idea of selling trez. But the prospect of selling him shouldn't be out of the question because every organization should be looking towards the future.
Yes, trez will be invaluable come this season/cl, I do not dissent that. But it doesn't hurt to consider how much money we can get for him and then how we can use that money to address team needs. That’s how the business works my friend, and the bottom line is that no player is "untouchable".

The Moggi model was a lot different. His self sustaining style was a talent you cant expect everybody to have. The new trio heading a club as mighty as Juventus, might just be finding the task at hand a lot harder than they already make it seem. Do you really think they will identify Trezeguet's successor as easily just because of an X amount of money? Keep in mind they're the same people who invested 23m in Tiago and Almiron. You need to see where we are today before being open to doing business. When you're starting over, it's not about quanity as much as it is about quality.
And let's not forget business is about profit to the organization. Before looking at short term gain, you need to account long term losses. Please tell me how someone like Trezeguet, with his specialised skill set that he's known to be the best in the world for can be sold at this point? And if he is, what you'd do with the 22 m euros? A hitman is as specialised a position as there is. It's not as much about money in the bank, as it is about trophies in the cabinet.
