Trezeguet Fourth In Ranieri's Pecking Order?
Juventus hit-man David Trezeguet is set to be banished to the bench and used as a fourth choice striker according to Il Giornale.
Goal.com

Another bullshit from Goal.com. Hes the numero uno in attack! Still prefer the del Piero-Trezeguet partnership before the oders.
ya, if this was anywhere near true then our board would've sold trez weeks ago. dumb press:analcanon:

If we were to sell Trez this season would be best suited for it, because we have a really strong group of strikers, his absence would be less felt than if we didint have as much quality.

usually when a club sells a vital player, it's for a very good reason.

I've yet to see the reason we should sell Trez. The 25 million reports don't count as that's just media rumors.

so to all of the people so keen to see the guy who scored 20 goals in 36 league matches last season (in the "uncreative team" at that too) Why should we sell?

because for the reasons that me and zlatan said. we would get a lot of money and we have a relatively high number of "quality" strikers. you could argue that juventus would be better off if they took the money from trezeguet's sale and bought a similar caliber defender

but where did it say we will get a huge amount of money? All this 20m talks are from crap sources like goal.com. So far it only looks like Barca are just interested, and most likely made an inquiry. I doubt there has been any bid put forward.

and I doubt there will be any bid.

Trez is not doing well in the pre season...
He only scores goal against Arsenal which is in an offside position

Look like Trez will be caught in offside position more this season
That will be stop Juventus attacking flow when one of your player caught in an offside position

I cannot disagree more. Although we have Amouri this year in addition to Del Piero and Trezeguet, but you have to remember that we don't have the most "creative" midfield in the world. You need a player who can score a goal from a single chance given to him in the game, and thats trezeguet for you. He could be the most lethal finisher in todays football. He is a scoring machine. To score more than 160 goals with an average of more than 1 goal in 2 matches that is something neither Iaquinta or Amouri are capable of doing.
He might be getting old, but he has alot to offer.

I hate when people speak about age as if a couple of months changes the person dramatically. He just finished 2nd in the top scorer board this past season scoring 20 goals, he came second to Del Piero. So in reality, our first choice should be Del Piero and Trezeguet. A pair that know each other, scored more than 400 goals together. If this pair fails to do anything this season then we'll consider changing up abit.

You seem so confident, do you want to put money on that?

What do you mean, when talking about quality??? Because, if it is scoring ability, than we havent. Delpie had a fantastic season, but he isnt a real goal machine.
The scoring ability of the other two(Iaq and Amauri) not to mention. Their goal per game ratio is really poor for a striker.
If you ask me, only TREZ is a goal guarantee.
