miss Serie A, says Trez Friday 3 November, 2006

David Trezeguet has admitted that he’s desperate to win promotion back to Serie A with Juve as soon as possible.
The Bianconeri earned their eighth straight win over Brescia on Wednesday and are now only three points short of Serie B leaders Genoa, while they prepare Monday night’s big match with Napoli at the Stadio San Paolo.
“I’m really pleased with the win over Brescia,” said Trezeguet to the brand-new Juventus Channel.
“Our physical condition was better compared to the match with Frosinone and we played at a higher technical level.
“There was also the additional motivation of the 109th anniversary celebrations before the match and it was the first time we played in front of a sold-out stadium this season, which is always important,” added the Frenchman.
“It’s important for me that the team does well. We need to fight until the very end to return to Serie A as soon as possible – we miss it.
“This is a long championship and it’s going to take a lot of hard work, but we are on the right track. We need to work together as a team, starting from our trip to Napoli on Monday.”
Trezeguet remained in Turin over the summer despite the club’s relegation to Serie B, a decision which he found hard to make.
“It was a delicate choice for me,” he added. “I spent seven years here, winning four titles and playing in the Champions League, but the club and the Coach made it clear they were counting on me.
“This is my reality now. It’s just a matter of working hard and helping the team get back to Serie A right away,” concluded the 29-year-old striker.
In the meantime, Coach Didier Deschamps may have to do without Jean-Alain Boumsong for the trip to Naples.
The defender underwent scans on Friday which revealed an inflammation to his left adductor muscles.
