I think he's a douche but I do have to say he has been one of the best RB's I've ever witnessed. I just figured he had 13 G+A as a RB in just one season playing with us. Those are some insane stats and probably the most influential RB 'till this day

Cabrini has to be our ever best fb with over 50 goals and many assist. But yes Alves stats are still amazing.

He sucked for half a season before we built up his speed but I was genuinely surprised when he marked Neymar out of the game

Who was better, he or Cafu?
It's a difficult question because they played different roles for their clubs. Cafu wouldn't really play as high as Alves would at Barcelona's best years. Definitely not in the 90's.

Cafu was the epitome of solidity, Alves has flair. Cafu won everything at International level (when it still mattered), Alves at club level. It seems every record is being broken in modern football so I''d take numbers as a weighting factor on this with a pinch of salt, obviously Alves had a better career though. The guy's a winner.

Personally Cafu all the way. Not only for the way he played which was pure grinta but the way he presented himself. He is a hero for many people and a respected leader. Somebody I actually miss watching play. Alves is a cunt who talks nothing but shit.

Ibra has 35 and Buffon 27 (Serie A 05 and 06). But also, DA should have 40, Messi 34. I think only major trophies should count, and not stuff like U23, u21, u20 NT competition (which they didn't count for Buffon anyway?). Ibra was 2nd to Maxwell (unofficially, counting our 2 taken away scudetti), but he stopped winning in 2017 with ManU, while Alves had 2 years in Paris and the Copa America so he overtook him. Iniesta as well, 2 years in barca and keeps winning in Japan even.

Still the best RB we’ve had in the last decade. Lichtsteiner never dominated the way he did vs Monaco.
For Juventus, Licht is clearly the best RB we've had in the last decade. There's no debate about this.

Cafu contender for goat RB. DA contender for best of his generation.
Dani Alves is definitely in the conversation of GOAT RB. Beyond that, it all comes down to a subjective opinion.
