Made Madrid worse by leaving. Made Juventus worse by joining. Fucked 2 clubs.

He's one of the GOATs but he really ruined our identity as a team.
If you're insinuating that we have become too reliant on one player, well, this has happened in the past, too. It happened when Del Piero was here, then Ibrahimovic. More recently, there was one season when Tevez was the only real threat up top.

Imagine it that way. Would the current team have more chance to go further in the CL without him? I far from believe it.

Having him honestly gives me more hope for Europe. Until it gets wrecked by the rest
If we had spent that money we paid for him on improving our midfield last year we might have been better off, imo.

As good as he's been I'm not sure we got the best returns (at least sporting-wise) on this investment.

Completely agree on that first part even if I do think Ronaldo brings something of value. Ideally we'd have both but it doesn't work that way

We won't have a return on our investment unless we win the CL and good luck with that with our current state. Fucked situation

Don't get me wrong...

It's funny to say, but Ronaldo is a long-term sport project. The man is obsessed about his legacy and his presence will force Juventus to succumb to his needs and bring a coach & players that suit him. He's ready to play till he's 40 if it means he'll go down as the GOAT. I believe that by the 2021/2022 season we'll be monsters with him as the head of the spear.

But as a piece of the puzzle to the post 2017/2018 cycle? He wasn't what we needed. He just doesn't fit to this team, with these players. As I said, it'll take years for this team to be truly Ronaldo's team.

You need to play fast paced attacking football with players who can feed him crosses. Meanwhile we have... Pjanic, who's slow as fuck, Matuidi who can't control his feet on the counter, Cuadrado and Sandro who can't hit a wall with their crosses if they stood 3 M from it.
