My dad told me he will join us.
Well if your dad says so.. Cant find a better source than that ;)
I sometimes wonder what would happen should we skipped on Salas
He would probably be playing for Real anyway but it might change our history CL wise..

Dont want. Giant ego, wage and transfer fee. He was the second best of his generation but in a year or two he will be finished as a top ten player, and he will still have a giant ego and wage, but no resale value.

Worth it if we win CL next year tho. In that short period we will collect a shit load of new plastic fans too so the transfer will probably pay for itself.

Obviously it is not going to happen but if somehow it did would be totally worth it.

Don't particularly like Ronaldo, but having a player of that profile and ability would go a long way in the CL. I also think he can keep playing for several more years, he seems incredibly focused on being in peak condition and it wouldn't surprise me if he was still at a good level in four years.

But it's not going to happen, the costs involved will be far too high.

That would be extremely risky. Even with Ronaldo at the max of his abilities there is no garantee that we will win the CHL at all. There is a big risk that he wont perform here. At least not as he does in Real. He will be 34 next year and age will catch up with him at some point.

If you compare that with a 100m+ transfer fee, a four year contract with net wages 25m+, it is a hugh risk.
Lets say we have a revenue of around 500m. That is a 100m increase without player sales than what we have now. We buy Ronaldo for 120m and give him a four year contract with 50m gross wages. His influence on our income statement is 50m + 120/4 = 80m for the next four years. That is 16% of our revenue that will be allocated for one player. That is a hugh risk for a club like Juve to take.

No way. He'll most likely transform even more into a CF, but he won't be finished.
