No way. He'll most likely transform even more into a CF, but he won't be finished.
I said be finished as a top ten player. Offcourse he will still be a top player but not a 50m wage and 120m transfer fee, kind of player. If he was 29-30 I would be all for it, even if I dislike his persona, but at his age it is just not worth the risk.

Robaldo is the most professional athlete i have seen in my entire life. His will and determination to be on top of his game and the best in the world is unparalleld. He will be on top of his game even on 36/37 just like Nedved was and arguably Del Piero. Having him here would be a dream come true. Regarding his ego, it is big, but that is the thing that will help him prolongue his carreer ending by a couple of years. Also, i would say that his ego is something that can be controled and also i think he himself will control it if he comes here when he sees what Juventus is all about.
I never seen a football player being the best in the world at 36/37, and especially not a player like Ronaldo who is heavely dependend on his freak athletism.

Who is this guy? Is he any good? I heard we're linked with him.
Honestly if he comes, I am willing to give up dybala rugani and any of our midfielder.
This guy has shown willingness to adapt, compared to the Argentinian. He will adapt to our serie A games, and also win us the ECL.

Did you rip your shirt off and flex your pecs like Ronaldo before you did it?

Had this been a few years ago I would have pissed my pants.
Now he is 33 years old and in decline. Still absolute class and perhaps the best player in history and current best player in the world. But he is still 33 years old. If he came for free or like 10m, yeah, absolute monster signing. But beyond that, I'd rather stick with Pipita or bring someone else.

Yes, I am discriminating people of age here.

Besides, this seems like bs. Why use our full budget to get Ronaldo to keep him for 1-2 years? We wouldn't meet his salary demands.

We would make a shit ton from shirt-sales and commercials. It is totally worth paying for this GOAT level player. Would increase our global appeal hugely.

This is obviously a big factor and probably one of the main reasons we are considering him.

Athletically speaking I don't know if it would be a good transfer. He isn't playing basketball. With LeBron you know he'll be great until he's 40. Speed is always important in football however and the reality is that when you reach your mid thirties you start to decline real fast in that aspect.

Nah, CR himself makes and will make a shit ton from commercials, Juve as a club should be able to negotiate better commercial deals (not that it takes much to improve the clown deals we've negotiated up till now), but that surely won't be hundreds of millions, probably just enough to pay his salary if that much.

Real, long-term financial benefit will only follow if we win a CL cup and I don't see how adding a clinical striker will change much there, it's not like current Juve create tons of chances that our strikers fail to convert, it's pretty much the opposite. the only big sporting benefit I see is not having to watch Ronaldo get the better of our defense ever again.

Still. No matter how enticing it is I'd rather see us have a midfield that can keep up with e.g. RM. Splashing our entire budget on Ronaldo wouldn't strengthen our competitive situation here and now.

I would once again like to stress that these rumors seem very inconsistent with our strategy so far. Seems more likely he's pushing for a better contract with RM. If he would leave I believe the Red Devils are more likely destination than here.

Juve fans are the only ones who would question a transfer of such a star player. Our management is competent enough not to bankrupt the club ffs, we gotta stop caring this much about our finances, we're fine.

I trust our management completely. But as stated earlier.

1. Seems very unlikely and more of a contract dispute with RM.
2. I'd rather splash our money on midfield.

1. it might just be a bit more than a simple contract dispute. according to multiple sources, his unrealistic buyout close is already lowered, so real are basically selling him for 120m.
2. true, but in case you completely trust our management, shouldn't you trust their midfield choices? i mean if marotta thinks that keeping khedira and getting can is the way forward, who are we to doubt these choices?
