To be fair who gets appluaded by the opponents? Its extremely rare, unless that player is a legendary one thats retiring that season, you rarely get love from opponent fans.

Del Piero, Ronaldinho, Cristiano, in big competitive games, cases I can remember off the top of my head that got big applaudes after ridicolous goals/performances.

Most other applaudes I can think of were mainly final career games.
iniesta also got a standing ovation at the stadium in november

Pretty sure Messi got in el clasico.
Pool fans gave Ronaldo also when he trashed them 4:0 in 2014.
Think old trafford when brazilian Ronaldo scored hattrick in CL 03.

Dude. Look at his first born son. Buying off his mom like that, that's just not healthy behaviour.

Why not? He’s a rich man who can have any woman he wants. Why deal with someone he knows he doesn’t want to be around? This is the same as a couple who can’t reproduce naturally having someone carry their baby. Dude wants the kid to be raised by his family and has the means to do so.

No. A 25 year old athlete buying a mother like that is not the same as a couple choosing this option as a last resort. Even Ronaldo himself has substantially changed in that regard as is demonstrated by his current relationship and younger children.

Let's do comparison
ILFJ: Fake rich, 3rd world resident, fake white, lawyer, decent looking
Ronaldo: Filthy rich, International superstar, has transcended race and gender, hires lawyers, underwear model
Also Ronaldo has more than 1 maid

CR7 is such a weird player when you think about it. On the one hand he's so in your face with the way he celebrates and acts on the pitch. Even after scoring that goal he was posing like a moron. But then our fans start to applaud him and you just see him melt. It took just seconds for him to be completely moved by it. Tbh I think he's someone who probably does have his heart at the right place, but who faces severe mental health issues :D.
I'd imagine a lot of people who devoted their life to a sport and become such a highly regard professional at such a young age are a bit different from the rest of us. Probably a lot of extreme lows and extreme highs during formative years mold you into a strange person. You probably get a lot of praise, to the point that you become numb to it, but rarely is at as honest and genuine as opposition fans applauding you while you destroy their team.

I think its presumptions to say he has severe mental health issues he just has had a radically different life from the rest of us mortal humans.

Two things that changed the destiny of this club:

1. Not signing Ronaldo
2. Calciopoli

We did an admirable job coming back from the 2nd one, but if Calciopoli didn't happen and Ronaldo signed for us, we would probably have won 5 CL trophies by now.
