Well, that is a big question. I'll tell you from a normal person's viewpoint. In the simple governmental procedures, I think Jordan is one of the least corrupt countries in the region as you can make any governmental procedure without bribing anybody all your life, on the contrary with Syria for example. But, if you are a businessman who tries to make a big project, you'll find some big corrupt people that will forbid you from having that project without paying them their share. To simplify it, we have smaller models of Jamal and Alaa.

In the government itself, many ministers were found to be thieves but nothing was done to them.

About the taxi drivers, well, in Jordan, you rarely find anybody who says anything PUBLICLY against the king as people do not trust each other regarding this issue, and as this is considered as a big crime that takes you directly to prison. The regime here has many problems: The corrupt people around him including his wife and her family, and many ministers. Another problem he has is the high authority the security forces has in the country. They interfer in almost everything.

The biggest problem in Jordan is the discrimination against Jordanians from Palestinian origin since 1970. They are forbidden from working in security forces, army and governmental jobs. And although they are estimated as more than half of the population, you can see that their representatives in the parliament are less than 10%. We have a very weird education system that forces people from Palestinian origin to pay for their education in the university while it is almost free for other people. Education cost is very high here.

About Queen Rania, she has her companies that are competing in the market with other companies, especially in the IT sector.

I get it now, I got along very well with Jordanians my whole life, seems less corrupt internally than the Arabs around. But in external affairs Jordan has always been Israel's friend specially in King Hussein's days, like what Mubarak was doing recently with Egypt
