Simple. To protect the unvaccinated. (And the vaccinated "at risk" people.)
Reminds me of SEC 'protecting' retail investors.

Unvaccinated: 'we are comfortable with the covid risk, thank you very much, can we go back to normal?'
Great Protectors: 'uh uh we need to do [endless list of humiliating measures] to protect [group that explicitly states it doesn't want protection]

Can't stop patronizing others for 15 seconds

I aim to please!

Not bad, but an even better description would be: 'we are comfortable with the covid risk, thank you very much, can we go back to normal? But please help me if I get sick!'

Really hoping all unvaccinated people are taken to camps with other unvaccinated people. They can live there in perfect harmony, we can even number them to know how many true patriots there really are.

and so they don’t get bored, maybe they can work while they’re there? It’s a win-win. And we can place the camp at Disney in Florida, so they can hop on all the train rides for entertainment.

You be joking about these things, right? I can't tell :D
I actually love Colbert, he’s one of my favorite late night hosts. Haven’t really watched the last ten years because his recent show isn’t as good as the Colbert Report but it seems like a harmless skit, I don’t see what’s not to like. Vaccines are a pretty big topic whether you agree with them or not.

The only issue really is when hospitals become overwhelmed and have to start rationing health care like they have been in Idaho. But like covid, even that only really effects older people and less healthy people. And at around 40% vaccinated statewide, it’s hard to argue that this isn’t a majority mandated result.

Early days of Colbert Report were great. Sad how he's become the left wing version of what he used to mock.

In other news, YouTube is banning anti vax accounts and content.

wonder where Kyrie Irving will do his research now.

No, I'm definitely more jaded but Colbert did use to be funny
ive only seen bits and pieces since he came back but they were mostly pandemic time so he was doing it from home. That was boring
