Why do fully vaccinated people have to keep wearing a mask though? And we have a incidence of roughly 4 or so. It's ludicrous.

Bring on the survival of the fittest method at this point. Those who wanted the vaccine, have it by now. That's roughly 60%. We throwing vaccines in the bin like crazy already and it's gonna get slower and slower at this point.

Robert Koch institute should be in for a surprise with their targeted quote

"We must aim to get 90 percent of people over 60 and 85 percent of 12 to 59 year olds to get vaccinated."

Good luck with that.
They just took a number they know can't be fullfilled so they can always have an excuse and blame the population but not government and science.

Younger people generally handle the virus better while elderly already took both doses. Judging by their logic it should be enough to live normally and have everything opened since risks are bare minimum. However, that ain't gonna happen and we're going to see massive number of people being affected by the virus in September and they'll blame the people for not being responsible which is pure bullshit.

This is exactly what I’m thinking. It’s also why I haven’t took the vaccine (yet). Also reports that in France, Greece and Malta people without the vaccine are prohibited to go to restaurants and stuff kinda makes me sick. Really losing control over your own integrity, while vulnerable people are already vaccinated anyway.

That's mandatory vaccination by the backdoor really. Hey, you don't have to get the vaccine, but we won't let you do anything without it.

Of course.

I have no idea how people nowadays are capable of digesting absolutely everything. At first it was like "hey it's an option, we recommend taking a vaccine but it's your body" and I'm fine with that. If you want to take 5 vaccines I don't really care. But give people an option to chose. Now all of a sudden you have places like festivals, restaurants and other things where you can only enter if you took vaccine, so you're automatically excluded from having a normal life. And nobody sees how horrible that is, but they are like "just take the vaccine like we did and you will live normally". But I don't want to take it. What the hell... And it's just a matter of time before new wave of bullshit arrives, like I previously said, and they are going to say how this new variant is extremely dangerous and apparently vaccines don't help much with it. Then they will appear and say how vaccines were brilliant but... but it's the new thing that arrived and we'll give our best to make a new one, but even faster this time around and, hell, we've got logistics sorted already since we all learned so much from previous waves. It's disgusting.

Here the minister came on tv a few weeks ago, telling we will reopen the bars and club and that we could go ‘dancing with Jansen’. Age group 18/25 in line to take the vaccine, only to see everything getting closed again within a short amount of time. What a scheme, glad I didn’t fall for it. Heard so many people saying that the only took it because they wanted to continue living a normal life or go on vacation

I really don’t want to downgrade to importance of taking a vaccine if needed, but damn that going back and forward in decisions, almost forcing everyone to take it makes me run away as fast as possible. I rather wait and see what will happen. Don’t have any problems doing a test if needed. Heck I did 2 to arrive in Italy just to make sure.

I wonder why people still refuse to take the vaccine. Enough people have taken it now and besides a handful of cases, there have been no ill effects.

idk about Europe but in the US, the states being hit the hardest now are the ones with low vaccination % like out in bumblefuck Midwest. I’ve been to multiple states and cities this spring/summer and have seen plenty of people out and about living life like normal. Even NYC was full of people and most didn’t have masks on

...yet discovered

They're gonna have to offer me a FAR better reward to risk ratio, and I am not talking about 50€ incentive they are debating now.

Also I'm not a very social person but still know a handful of of ppl in their late 20s early 30s who got hit by vaccine hard and a woman in her 60s who literally died two days after

-YOU VILL TAKE ZE VACCINE
-no

that’s weird, I know a lot more people got hit hard and died by COVID. Funny how that works

As you could read, European policy is something scary. Read about the situation in France, is basically obligated and if you don’t want it you have to test every 48 hour to live a normal life. That’s my biggest concern. I’m not joining the circus if we’re treated like shit

How many young people? My risk of falling victim to this disease is close to zero. Not high enough to make me go run and get the vaccine.
plenty.

and the reason for young people to get vaxxed is because they don’t act like spreaders. But whatever, I think at this point it’s useless to keep arguing about this, people have made up their minds on what they wanna do

I know of only one person under 60 who got pretty sick from Covid but is now fully recovered. I also know one person had really bad effects from a vaccine, bed ridden for three days, also fully recovered.

Of course this is just anecdotal, and I've been away from home since January and no social media, so I'm not fully in touch with what's happening. And yes, obviously my personal experience does not provide an accurate picture of reality.

Point is, from my own observations combined with the information from media and authorities, for someone like me the vaccine seems unnecessary.

That, and the amount of effort to convince people it's for their own good when their observation says otherwise, and now they're being coerced or forced to take it. You really wonder why people are refusing?

Worse yet if places with high vaccination rates start going into lockdowns again.

Don't young people have like a 10% chance of developing long covid? I'd rather take my chances with a vaccine that's proven to be safe so far.
Where'd you get that?

I think at this point you have just let it loose. It’s been more than a year. Most people have at least some knowledge of the implications of the virus, the vaccines, etc. So let them figure it out for themselves. We’re fully open and this method seems to be working for us.
