It seems both my sisters are infected with covid19,but they didn't test her because she still could breath, even though she had every covid symptoms, meanwhile they tested some politicians whom admitted they didn't have any symptoms.

My older sister had some problems first 3/4 days , now it's been 15 days but she still can't smell , the younger one didn't have any problem, but she also still can't smell .

Me and my parents didn't have any symptoms, I'm kinda worried about my parents since both are diabetic.

So sorry to hear that. I'm worried about my parents too since my mom has a compromised immune system and my dad had open heart surgery a few years back. I know how this fear drains all your energy.

Something I don't seem to understand how infections rates are still not decreasing eventhough Victoria (Aus) has been in lockdown for a while now. They have been in lockdown since the 8th of July. Three weeks later we're still seeing sky high numbers around the 250-300 per day in the Victoria.

How many weeks does it take untill you see the infection rates dropping when in lockdown?

I'd look at the infection to test ratio. Infection numbers might increase due to increase in testing.

Well of course he does

Best case scenario, a couple weeks. More if compliance is poor. Just because you're in lockdown doesn't mean that nobody is in contact with anybody else -- from grocery delivery to the postman to visiting the drugstore to being an "essential" worker who needs to head into the office. And all the compliance of the people from bus drivers to fellow passengers to cops.

People have lockdown fatigue. Not following rules, still hanging around shops, not social distancing. And unfortunately it’s crept in to too many aged-care facilities. It’s a disaster.

And it looks like it’s Sydney’s (and to a lesser extent, Brisbane’s)turn now.

Really awful that people simply aren't making this easier. Are you from the Victioria-erea?

Just figured the Victoria-area only has 6 million inhabitants and recording 350-400 infections per day. Denmark has 6 million inhabitants as well and are recording around 60 infections per day.
