Non peer reviewed featured in a notorious chinese propaganda rag  what a great way to justify their low number of fatalities.
Articles on this study are on basically every single news site, dude. Including right wing rags like Fox News. https://www.foxnews.com/science/coronavirus-mutated-at-least-30-different-strains-study-finds

And once again, the actual study just further confirms research happening all over that suggest various mutations and strains, some deadlier than others.

Like you said with your “pizzagate” YouTube video, this just presents data, how you interpret it is up to you.

Of course a virus will mutate, to extrapolate that it is worse in NYC compared to china is what it in contented and as you can see that wasnt in the fox news article.

And no there is a huge difference between what i posted which can be confirmed with a google search, and some ccp agent saying that the worst virus is in nyc, not china, and it was imported from europe, not china  how convenient

That YouTube video was nonsensical Qanon conspiracy theorizing. A bunch of randomness linked together with tenuous or non-existent connections. Hardly indicative that something big is about to go down.

And while certainly the SCMP article itself is flawed, I hardly see issue with the study itself that shows some mutated strains with vastly more viral load. Not to mention a google search would show you that American research has also claimed the New York City coronavirus came from Europe (of course after coming there from China). https://www.euronews.com/2020/04/10...m-europe-studies-say-after-sequence-compariso

Something big going down is just my opinion, could be right could be wrong only time will tell.

I’d ignore everything even slightly politicized out of China for sure. China should lambasted and sanctioned heavily for their subterfuge and propaganda that helped spread this and caused so many to underestimate it.

But the article I linked and the study referenced there just confirms what has been suspected and shown to a lesser degree previously by Western researchers. That this thing is mutating, doing so frequently, and some strains have a far greater viral load than others.
It's still a China source. That news site isn't some liberal body independent of reaches of CCP. And that hilarious article reflects that.

Two strains - original one from China and one from Europe - is very old news.

As is the fact this virus mutates a lot which is mostly a good thing (most mutations make the virus less dangerous). Can Peter out that way. Only thing you've to watch out for is missense mutations in the spike proteins, but enough of that happening and leading to something way scarier is very unlikely.

The article basically took old news, known things and tried to make them sound scary. I also liked how they mentioned the study only used 12 participants but that it was done using better and not quick methods lol.

Fair enough.

And I agree with you entirely on Chinese propaganda and most of their info being incredibly unreliable, if not outright misinformation. This study, was probably only approved for publication because it can be misinterpreted by CCP to promote their shifting of blame, but the study removed from pernicious influence just seems to confirm other studies, only giving a better idea of how much more potent the viral load can become with mutations, which is more so what I was trying to highlight as worrying.

What video? Please link.

Thoroughly enjoyed seven's, Gordon's, lgor's and some of bjernkes' posts in this thread. I'd also like to read about their take on handling the Spanish flu.

As I said above, I agree with regards to China and the CCP.

Only thing I really wanted to highlight was the varying degrees of viral load from different strains. And that evidence of extremely high viral load from some mutated strains is worrying. But like you say, probably unlikely that continued mutations will make it deadlier, I’ve read that in a number of older articles.
