Somehow I can't even imagine now this shit stopping. And I'm an optimistic person overall. It just keeps getting worse and worse. It looked so far away just a month ago, and now covid is behind the doorstep.

Both Italy and Spain were totally fine 3 weeks ago. Everybody was out like nothing happened.

Yes it's easy to tell whether a virus is man made or natural.

Besides, no one could have thought of this design for a virus.

Unless hot weather slows it down but no evidence for it so far
Even if hot climate slows the virus, on a global scale it won't matter as we will still have colder climate in the opposing hemisphere.

I agree. Each day its getting worse. And we dont know if it peaked yet. The worst thing about this virus is symptoms not showing up fast. Best solution test everybody (i know it takes time).

I refuse to believe it. Since we have infected people in Singapore, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia.

BJ's press conference just now had a guy from Public Health England who said they were close to distributing an antibody test for those who may have had or have the illness but are asymptomatic or with mild cold symptoms. This is important because it gives PHE an idea on what percentage of people have natural antibodies, and they can be used to identify a monoclonal antibody that directly affect COVID-19.

Coronavirus death toll in Italy rises by 475 in one day to nearly 3,000 - biggest increase since outbreak [BBC]
That sounds worrying. Measures have been in place over there for a while now, yet the situation seems to be getting worse. I understand there's bound to be some kind of delay, but you'd hope it would have started slowing down by now.

Edit: new casualties is obviously not the same as new cases, but still.
