Btw what's going on with Arab countries? I hear they live like there's no covid at all.
That's a blatant lie. Dictators and tyrants in the Arab world lying and covering shit up. I know for a fact at least half a dozen people in Egypt who had the Rona, and a couple of them died (they were quite old and had other complications, so that didn't help). However, it is definitely a concern. Just because you aren't hearing any buzz doesn't mean it isn't there.

Get well soon. A couple of friends, one here in Thailand and the other in Switzerland, contracted the Rona, but they are fine now.

I wasn’t really nervous about getting it. But the way they did it here was we got the shot and then we’re told to sit in a large auditorium with everyone else for 15 minutes, with masks on of course. I started feeling really hot and might have freaked out a little because there were a ton of people and maybe I felt a little trapped. I’ve had a couple similar situations before but not as bad, so maybe the fact that my arm was hurting plus getting overheated and some anxiety sitting in pushed me into an attack. Not sure
Hope you’re all well now mate. But that sounds very much like a panic/anxiety attack. I suffer from those at times too and they suck. Almost feels like you’re on the verge of a heart attack.

Wasn't the UK one like 30 people out of over 18 million? How many people does it naturally occur in?
The evidence suggests that it is causally related because of low platelet levels, but it's strange because from a sample of 18 million people there are 30 cases and 7 deaths, and depending on the stats you use those are normal deaths for CVT without the vaccine.

What irks me is how much of the media push this out and just fuel anti vaxxers. Also no one has ever paid attention to this shit before.

We have just as many cases though and not vaccinated nearly as much as the UK.

It's the vaccination commission that once again pulled the plug here after medical institutions looked into it. Media merely picking it up, and why wouldn't they.

We keep giving it to people over 60.
Basically saying if you young it's not worth the risk - If you old/in a risk group you may as well wing it as it's better than getting the Rona. I agree with that notion.

That's why I was asking. Friends brother is in Dubai. Last year he lost his job for 4-5 months when they closed restaurants and everything. He went back in September and up until this day he says life is normal, everything works, nobody wear masks and they run at full capacity. I also know about some girls working for some hotel chains in Riyadh, they also say nothing is happening over there, no measures nor anything.

So everyone in my family had covid, I never did any test but stayed all the time with them and never had any symptoms.

My grandparents had covid too, they did great even better than my father.

And they got vaccine (Chinese one) , they feel good.

I don't want to sound arrogant, but I see no reason why should I get vaccine, I would take it only if they make it mandatory for travelling.

Well you usually don't take it for yourself.
You take it for those that are imuno compromised and can't take it , so as to not infect them, given the chance.
As a personal gain , there is none, short term , for you. Maybe an easier form of the disease, because the body has the necessary tools to fight it.

But you spread the virus whether you took the vaccine or not. Vaccine is there to protect you and not others.

Nope recent studies show that you don't spread the virus anymore if you are vaccinated.

Scratch that. It seems more testing is needed, but preliminary tests look good.

seriously... So for months they were saying you spread it despite havijg taken the vaccine and now all of a sudden you don't...
Well the vaccine has to a maximum of 95% efficiency so there is always a chance that if you don't develop antibodies, then you can always spread the virus of you become ill.
