What? Japanese tourists are like the most respectful persons ever if they ask you a question or something. Don't throw them in one bag with the chinese.

Sure there is the selfie thing, but that's not only the japanese anymore.
I can't tell japanese and chinese apart despite having lots of experience in JAV viewing

arabs are the worst tourists

That’s surely false. Chinese tourist should definitely take pictures with famous landmarks, or it simply didn’t happen in the eyes of their friends and family when they go back. A photo with Golden Gate Bridge is more important than any designer apparel store. Fear of missing out is on another level there.
That's normal though and all tourists do it. If you were to go to Paris, wouldn't you take a picture with the Eiffel Tower? Or a picture in front of the pyramids if you visit Cairo?

If there’s a long line to take a photo I’d probably say fuck it. But for Chinese folks it’s not an option. I had a Chinese colleague in Austin who took his in-laws to Vegas so that their friends back in China believed they travelled to US.

It's going to be a long, hard, expensive process. Companies have been trying, even before the trade war or the pandemic. China is no longer just cheap labor, they have build incredibly robust supply chains that other countries (like Vietnam) are finding incredibly difficult to replicate at scale. On top of that China itself is a huge market for most of the big Western companies that it's hard for them to pick up and leave.
It will eventually happen, but it's going to take so much longer than one hopes.
Thought that's only true for China's silicon valley and tech manufacturing.

Any issue continues on long enough in America and it will inevitably become about race to some people. Media just waiting for the chance.

Look at the top comment there and wonder why they are disproportionately acquiring this? to be fair though people irresponsibly spreading contrarian bs is hard to judge when the dipshit president is doing it himself.

Of course. According to him it was the whole purpose. They were not much into anything else Vegas had to offer.

Question. Why does America always makes it about race. Case in point below

I don’t see the problem here. Black celebrities are trying to raise awareness, since they probably are more popular among black people, and also financially give back to the community.

Whereabouts in Alsace? My girlfriend is from there. Interesting place. Weird dialect.
Small places like Eguisheim, Colmar, Kayserberg and Riquewihr. I can't say much about the people because I spent only 3 days there as a tourist. Where's your girlfriend from? Strasbourg?

There are tourists who take pics of signs, forget the actual building or bridge

African Americans have high rates of heart disease and diabetes, more are below poverty level, more work in service sector, corona is affecting them more, and it's BET doing this, not cheap politics...where's the problem?
Its more about a social class issue than a race one in my opinion

Those, consumer electronics, large machineries etc. Things like clothes and sneakers have moved on to cheaper countries like Vietnam and Bangladesh a while ago. India has been trying to get a piece of the tech manufacturing pie for a while. Labor is cheap and plenty, but skilled workers are hard to come by.
