Had good experiences with american tourists, nice people, but the chinese are insufferable, just hoarde of them they litterally throw trash EVERYWHERE, zero regard for personal space and basic civility (even seen some spit on the floor indoors, in resturant). The difference between chinese tourists and japanese tourists are insanely huge.
:agree: a bunch of them in the bay area good thing is they're all tiny so you can just push them out of the way.

3800 new cases in Italy, but also the highest number of tests they’ve conducted (51000).
Almost 2200 recoveries and 542 deaths.
ICU numbers down 5th day in a row.
Seems like the newer cases are mostly asymptomatic and showing up because of increased testing.

Geographically and culturally, of course it is. The Turks did some damage to some parts of the Balkans, I agree, and the Balkans have the Albanians, which is a reason to feel ashamed.
This being said, I'm adding the Balkan Muslims to the others we'll ship off to Canada.
albanians are the purest balkanites there are, we don’t have that Russian blood dirtying us

Fuck this shit. Everyone has been worried that we do not count many people who have mild or no symptoms but we also do not count many of the corona deaths too. This is obvious in almost any country which is overwhelmed by the disease.
In the end, the actual death rate may be much higher than 2%.
SARS and MERS were just training sessions by Mother Nature..
Covid-19 is the real deal.
My prediction is actual death rate will be around .67% in developed countries, and yes, it's the real deal.

The effects will last till 2022. Mass antigen and antibody tests will be available by summer which is also when developing countries will hit their peak (middle class will be saved, the poor...), therapeutics and good amount of vents & cpaps will be ready for next flu season, so things will get better but won't be 2019.

As for actual death rate now, it's even higher when use number of cases from 14+ days ago which is a more accurate measurement.

Can't 2nd that one. They usually sooo loud, it's annoying.

I dont mind it, they are very sociable and generally in polite way, even if most if its just fake socially enduced habit (the politeness part). When you lived almost all your life in north europe, while having many benifites, only of the main drawbacks is people acting like strangers have leprosy and avoid eye contact with eachother on daily basis lol. Its nice for a change to meet americans who just randomly strike up convos with you in fairly natural and forward way.

They probably ARE strangers then.

That behaviour is not a drawback for me. It's a form of respect. If you are a stranger, don't walk up to me and talk to me like we're friends since the kindegarden time.

black people in general are poorer, which usually means worse health and inability to afford to stay home as much.

same reason there’s more black people in jail compared to white.
True, but the gap is too big for be only explain for that IMO. I'm quite sure it must be another reason, maybe an infection focus or something

All jokes aside I think Europe is an absolutely stunning continent.

It's difficult to explain to someone who lives in North America. But there is a certain richness in European culture that Canada and the USA just do not have (yet). That being said Canada and the US have very different things to offer and I can see the benefits of living there as well.
I agree, but there are some Americans who don't really understand that and I'm not sure why. Usually some complain about cultural differences, which they don't really know how to handle as a tourist, so it becomes awkward and sometimes turns into a negative experience. That's usually their fault for not understanding.

    - - - Updated - - -

There is a silver lining in all of this for us Europeans.
We'll get less dumb and loud American tourists and what's more important, we won't be having those Chinese tourists with their stupid cameras and complete disregard of ones personal space. Visiting all our beautiful cities from Portugal to Russia will feel like a whole new experience.
I wonder if someone comes up with a virus that will get rid of Europe's Pakis, Niggas, sand Niggas and Gypsies. And the Jews, obviously. Or maybe some kind of trade with Canada. We give them all the above mentioned and the white Canadians come to Europe.

I'm not racist, of course, but it's time to make Europe great again.
I'm hoping I can still make it back despite MEGA. ;)

Have you been to a landmark in any European city in the last 10 years and there wasn't 5 coach loads of Chinese tourists there at the same time?
the wonderful and bustling metropolis of tirana stands still mostly undiscovered from the Chinese

What I don't get is how people act surprised by this. Like name one epidemic or disease that does not disproportionately affect black people, poor people, etc.

Before we start calling SARS-Cov-2 racist, perhaps we should look at HIV, malaria, TB, asthma, stroke, diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer...
But there is also a geographical component to that. There are a lot of black people in large cities. Large cities are difficult to social distance in. And younger populations in the cities are more likely to disobey stay at home orders.
