Will be a very tough match and, for the first time in a while, I think there's a little chance to see us losing. They'll play their starting XI full force, and they'll be hungry for revenge after the humiliating 3-0 in the league. On the other hand, Conte will play most of our so called reserves in Coppa Italia, to handle the group, because a lot of them played very few lastly, and because he gives them so much respect to give a chance in a match iike this. Vucinic sale wil give a lot more responsabilities to Giovinco, who, until now, in both season, scraped a bit on his shoulders and was never called on when things were really decisive. Same thing can't be said for Quagliarella, who was frequently called on on important matches and often gave a great answer, both in the league and CL. This Coppa clash is an early final, I'd say, so if we show that our reserves (or at least, most of them) are able enough to beat the second force of the league Roma in their stadium, then we'd really have to win this fucking Coppa. I'm just worried aout two guys who'll probably play, Peluso and Giovinco; they're not consistent performers and sometimes choked on top moments, hope it won't happen tomorrow night. They have to show that they grew up in the latest months. Can't have so much positive feelings about this match, TBH, but hey, we're Juventus and we always have to manage to find a way out of it.

On the brighter side...this will be a good check to know how capable we are when coping with multiple competitions. Also, if we win this game...we can for sure go till the end and win the thing.

No,no this is a big,big gamble.If Conte says that he wants to make a history by wining Scudetto,Coppa and Europa League how he can gamble with more-less half second 11 with Roma away? Garcia rests his best players and we are starting with a second team.One word for this :GAMBLING.No excuses if we lose.Peluso is no Asamoah and Isla is no Lichteiner.Neither Giovinco is Tevez or Quag is Llorente.Finally Storari even one of the best keepers in Serie A is way below Gigi.I do not like this kind of approach in the game where you want to win.....
I hope Conte doesn't do so many changes. It'll guarantee an early break out of the cup. Roma looks the most solid of other Serie A teams and Conte should play a strong line up in this one.
It's about winning not showing some trust to bench players. He should rotate more in the league and less in cup competitions especially vs teams like Roma.

People always complain about Conte using the same players over and over again, but they don't want to rest any in the coppa?

Roma doesn't have european games, so they will not have as tight a schedule as us, and doesn't have the same depth as us, so they are more or less forced to play team closer to the ideal one. Hopefully we will win anyway and it will cost them points in the weekend

This lineup is demoralizing. Conte should have done a better job resting players throughout the last 2 weeks in preparation for this match. There's no reason we should have been playing our starting XI for 90 minutes a game when we were winning the games by 2, 3, 4 goals every time.
Even Tevez and Llorente playing 85 minutes last game was stupid. At the very least they should have been subbed immediately after Pogba scored to make it 4-2. I don't care if it only saves them like 5 minutes of work, it's just the thought process that bothers me.

I have no problems with us rotating the majority of the squad, we still have Serie A and European football, Roma don't, and it's also vital that we give our fringe players some valuable minutes. I don't expect us to thrash them like we did a few weeks ago. Expecting a tight and cagey game, and wouldn't be shocked if it goes to PKs. Roma are obviously taking this one seriously, should be a fascinating battle.

LOL sounds exactly the same as the situation in Australia. We rejoice when they show games like Supercoppa or Coppa Italia finals on TV, they really don't give a fuck about anything else besides the EPL (and the disgusting Spanish twins)

I'd be up for them buying Serie A rights, if only to stop the pundits during CL nights being so ignorant when Italian teams are concerned
ESPN and later BT Sport were decent, they have some commentators who I like. However, sometimes Juve games which were against small teams got just 1 commentator. And there was no proper build up to the matches, it just tunes in for the kick off most of the time.
I don't know if it's my imagination, but crowds seem a lot quieter on BT Sports/ESPN. I think they lower the background noise drastically for the commentators.

I believe you are right in suspecting the crowd noise is turned down. The difference is certainly very noticeable compared to watching an English game covered by SKY or streaming a Serie A game covered by SKY Italia. I don't know if the dulled crowd noise is down to ESPN/BT or down to what the Italians choose to provide to foreign broadcasters.
Can't say there being no build-up or only one commentator bothers me. As much as I note when a channel is making an effort, the punditry - both during and around a game - interests me little.
