Question:
What is/was a better competition and harder to win - Copa America or UEFA Intertoto Cup?

I remember some good teams competing in the Intertoto Cup.

The Intertoto Cup, because that's European.

I wonder whose dupe account this is?

My money was on @Alen but now I’m not so sure.
I don't think it's a dupe. Or if it is, it's of some member who got banned soon after he created his account. This guy is checking where people are from in order to insult them for that. He tried to insult me for being from Afghanistan because that's what I have under location.

Brazil 1970. Brazil won 3 out of 4 World Cups from 58 to 70 - that's insane. The only reason they probably didn't win in 66 is because Pele was injured early, and that clearly dented their confidence.

I also love the Dutch team of 88 and France's Platini.
Brazil 1970 and 1982 were possibly the two most beautiful attacking teams of all time. I have a hard time picking one between them.

Holland 1974 was just as good, insane football. Cruyff fucking genius. Their match against Argentina was like watching a professional team play amateurs.

Good mentions there, 88' Netherlands and 84' France were indeed brilliant. Obviously 86' Argentina with Maradona at his peak...

Another one that comes to mind is 98' Netherlands, stacked with nothing but quality. 2010 Spain bored the hell out of me, it's got nothing on those teams.

My agenda only includes trophies since that's what the spaniards I deal with on social media bring up.

But let's get real for a sec.. hombre a hombre

Brazil of the 70s and 82 blow this team out of the water with their playing style.
France's golden generation played quite attractive as well.

Italy flopped, sorry but 2006 was the bare minimum.

Spain 2008-2012 is the big red flag for me, I can go hours and hours about how overrated they are. What did they do that was so special outside of 2008? In 2010 they scraped by and in 2012 they were criticized until they played a mediocre italian team in the final..

This argentina team is not the flashiest, but we are deadly on the counter, have a very very tough defense, and have two geniuses in messi and di maria up front. This era is coming to a close though.

I hope you're able to tell when I'm trolling about the martinez remarks lol
Agree with the Spain part. Not only their matches weren't enjoyable overall, watching their system was like stabbing your own eyes with machetes.

I think what this Argentina lack in flair they make up in fight. It seems to be a very united group that decided they would do anything to get Messi his trophy. And the mofos did it.

I wouldn't place it anywhere near those teams I posted above in terms of sheer quality but they're a legendary generation.

Italy could have played better against Brazil at 70 They gave their all against Germany + the height of Mexico
One of the greatest matches

"Spread the word, they play in France but they're all from Angola

How beautiful, you're gonna run, you're tranny fuckers like that faggot Mbappe.

His/their mother is Nigerian, his/their dad is Cameroonian but his/their passport is French".

In case anyone wanted to know the lyrics of the chant.

With Messi and Di Maria gone, Argentina lose a lot of flair and fancy and creativity. They might have been old but they were leaders of their group.

Their current generation is good but not that great imo.

I can see that the Argentines are experts in African colonial history.

You can tell they never attended geography classes.

To be fair, our geography/history classes don't focus a lot on Africa since we've never really an important relationship or involvement in the continent, unlike Europeans who shat all over the global south and are way closer in proximity to Aidsfrica.

For all this talk of the French players not being French, I was surprised to learn that almost all of them were actually born in France. I feel bad that they get shit like this.
