It's insane watching Claudio become what he has become. I still remember him playing when we were in serie b.

Food for thought. Take Claudio rise to first 11 national team first 11. Do you think that he would still be a Juve player or do you think he would be the player he IF calciopoli didn't happen and Juve wee the powerhouse with the champions we had back then? I don't think so. We barely looked at youth those days. I really think calciopoli is the best thing that happened to him.

I dont think so. He wasnt even close to being considered into the hierarchy. Lack of depth and a good performance in pre-season in the tim cup, made Deschamps only consider him for the bench.

He would not have been near considerment for the team in 06/07 without calciopoli. If he had risen at all, it would've taken much longer and he'd had to have taken a more complicated route.

What matters is now Marchisio has matured into an important player for us. A player who tirelessly contributes to the defence and offence and is the silent leader in the team. That crazy clearance against Pescara is surely unforgettable. Sure it may just be Pescara, but that clearance showed how much determination and heart he wants for the team to win. I certainly look forward to him making more of those runs against opposition defence and scoring goals.

I hope Marchisio plays only 45 minutes in the 1st half against France. He is needed against for the tough schedule ahead and I hope he gets some rest in between.

Well at least 1 good thing came from it. A future legend was born and developed. His runs are just jaw dropping. We saw it against Chelsea how well he does it and so undetected its just insane.
