Every keeper wants to be a backup to gigi. As curr said, buffon is a real prone, and you can expect to play at least 15% of games as a backup. And maybe get a chance at EL games.

I doubt Storari would like to leave even if he's 2nd, he old alrdy and it's still a big thing to be a backup keeper in club such as Juventus.

Marchisio... what is his big talent waiting to blossem ?

so many times, we saw our midfield completely overrun this season, when we tried making the play.µ
del neri's fault, but partially also the players.

marchisio needs leadership skills, and partnership with melo-aqua isnt good enough.

we need a hero like mascherano in the midfield, maybe with marchisio alongside him.
if he can knock out aqua or melo from the midfield..

Again, some of you are again and again forgetting that Claudio is playing out of his position since the start of the season because our management failed to find a decent LM player instead they got us Martinez who can't walk properly let alone sprinting and running.

Marchisio should be playing in his neutral position had we had someone better than Martinez. Aquilani is doing better than Marchi.

natural - it's the second time you call it neutral :D

While what you say has logic, I think it's not true for this particular case, or at least it's not the decisive factor in Marchisio's performances. Just like in the previous two seasons, when he played in his natural position, Claudio this year had some 4-5 brilliant matches, some good matches where he did what was asked from him and performed a strictly tactical role, but he also had a good number of matches where tactics weren't the reason why he played bad and looked indifferent to what is happening on the pitch.
His numbers are good this year. Better than the previous seasons. With 4 goals, 4 assists and 1 goal that was his but counted as an owngoal for Genoa's keeper he's our top performing midfielder after Milos, with much better numbers than his partners in midfield Melo and Aquilani. No matter if he played CM, LM or was one of the trio midfielders (when we played 4-3-3), his performances in all these positions are same/similar. In all these positions he had great/good/average/bad matches.
I know that the way this team plays (too inconsistent) reflects on how the individuals play. Krasic, Del Piero, Melo, Chiellini all had good and bad matches, just like Claudio. But unlike the mentioned above, who played bad when the entire team played bad, with Marchisio it's a little different because even when the team played well, he knows to be invisible and useless. In the previous years his youth and inexperience were excusing such attitude. Now he's 25 and he must make the step in quality and consistency. He must take more responsibility and even lead the team instead of simply disappearing and playing a good match once a month.
He has the quality to do it. I believe there is truth in the rumors that United or other big teams following him. They're doing that because they can see the potential and quality. Now it's up to him to become a regular top performer because if he doesn't and he offers us good matches once a month, then 20m eur or close to it makes it too attractive to refuse if someone offers us such money for him.

Lame excuse. Take Del Piero, on the bench not even playing for many games then comes in and fits right it.
 And how many years has DP played for? I remember ferrera playing him LW and he did pretty bad there. Either way Marchisio is capable of scoring goals while at the same time playing defends.
