Marchisio is back to Turin

Claudio Marchisio has left the National Team’s training camp. The player, right after the end of the match vs. Roma on last Saturday evening, felt a little muscular pain to his right thigh. Once he arrived to the training camp, he has undergone some instrumental tests which confirmed a little fatigue. So Marchisio has been let off from National Team’s engagements and came back to Torino. The prognosis is of about 2-3 days.

Marchisio is back to Turin

So Marchisio has been let off from National Team’s engagements and came back to Torino. The prognosis is of about 2-3 days.

It's always happening to him,he gets an azzurri call,then gets injuried and goes back to Turin.

IIRC he also sustained an injury during the 2008 Olympic games which forced him to fly back to Italy.

He wasn't that bad. He does fine on the left IMO.

He isn't much of an attacking outlet but he protects our weak fullbacks. Of course when Diamanti doubled up on the left he wasn't able to bail out Grosso but who the hell could? Grosso sucks.

I'm starting to like Marchisio down the left. I hear a lot of ''obviously out of position'', yet he manages to be one of the better performers most of the matches.
