I love Marchisio, very underrated. So the guys is so smart, and tactically aware. He is probably one of the best midfielder in Serie A when it comes to discipline and tactics

I would say he lacks consistency as far as delivering the killer pass goes. AMC = attacking mid? that sound better but we would waste a player by doing that. I still say a 4-3-3 with him on the left and aquilani in the middle would be the best

in my opinion, Del neri put Marchisio on left side not because he is not good enough in central role in midfield last season. Tell me which player was good in central midfield last season. None. We can put last year as an exception.

For me, the only reason why marchisio play in the left side is because Marchisio can play well both as central and wing player.
Not, aquilani, melo even sissoko. And Del neri can aplly dinamic tactical without need to use substitution.

please don't compare any of current player with other player in other era. It's not fair.
If we did, then none of these player deserves 1st eleven.
we have zidane, davids, buffon, treze, thuram, montero.. complete squad...
