With only 3 fit midfielders, I'm assuming Padoinho is our emergency midfielder. What could go wrong?

Suddenly all those depth signings look pertinent.

Llorente: ‘Wonderful years at Juventus’

By Football Italia staff

Sevilla striker Fernando Llorente describes his two years at Juventus as “wonderful” ahead of a reunion tomorrow.
The Andalusian side welcome the Bianconeri tomorrow, with the hosts looking to secure a place in the Europa League and Max Allegri’s side looking to top the group.

“Tomorrow’s game will be very special for two reasons,” Llorente told reports in the pre-match Press conference.
“Firstly because we have so much to play for, we still have the chance to go into the Europa League and we want to be there, we want to take this opportunity.

“The second reason is that we’re playing against Juventus, which is my former team, just three months ago I was there my teammates, and I had two wonderful years there, where I experienced many things.

"I miss Turin, because it's a special city, very beautiful, where I had two wonderful years, as I've said. Also, to play for Juve was incredible, they're one of the biggest teams in Europe.

“It was wonderful. So for those reasons it will be very important."

@Lion
Just a "slight" difference what that drunk pussy from Bayern stated several times about us.He can learn from Nando how to act as a sportsman .But that is maybe too much to ask from him.

Max could easily start Zaza - Morata and give Dybala a little rest.
I would think the same way...but we need to end in 1st place, otherwise we risk a potential early exit is we face barca or bayern or any other inform team.

don't blame him, he cant justgo and grow a brain. :agree:

But then you will see the vidalists saying that we need to suck it up because he gave it all and was a monster in Juve.

Listen..one thing is to be an excepcional player talentwise ..an another is to have education and be a proffesional and a gentleman.

True. But at least he should keep his mouth shut.Best for all.
By the way I was one of his biggest admirers. But his statements about us after he joins Bayern pissed me off so hard that I really want all the worst for him there.

I still cant wish the worst for him because he did so many things for us and played his heart out to be honest....but i rate him as a real hypocrite after those comments.

How can he be so cynical? knowing full well he was loved here. At least have some respect and dont compare the teams or simply keep your mouth shut.

avoiding Barcelona or Bayern this early is the only reason to finish 1st really. take a look at this:

Real, Wolfsburg/United/PSV, Atlético/Benfica, Barcelona, Bayern, Chelsea/Porto/Dynamo, Zenit - finishing 1st

PSG, Wolfsburg/United/PSV, Atlético/Benfica, Leverkusen/BATE, Olympiakos/Arsenal, Chelsea/Porto/Dynamo, Valencia/Gent - finishing 2nd

we could get teams like PSG, United, Atlético, Arsenal, Chelsea, Valencia even if we finish 1st. so apart from Barcelona and Bayern, not much difference between finishing 1st and 2nd, depending on how these undecided groups end

I wouldn't mind playing a team with a strong attack in the round of 16 such as Arsenal, Real or Wolfsburg. Teams that are hard to break down (like Atletico, Olympiakos) are the ones that worry me.

Maybe I overreacted ,absolutely he gave all for us,but just can't stand that shitty comments about us.He can't be bigger than this glory club.Never.
