One thing is for sure, what a bunch of pussies madrid are. Those girly so-called-men metrosexuals wouldn't last a second in late 80's/early 90's Italia. All that diving is absolutely disgusting.

I wanted to punch Ronaldo's face in when he got owned by Barzagli and started crying for a broken nail.

I just really hope that this positive play and positive attiutude gained with the new formation is carried in Serie A, if we manage to do that we can fight for scudetto.

To answer the Sissoko question:

"from the first match in the group stage, a player is suspended for the next
competition match after three cautions in three different matches, as well
as following any subsequent odd-numbered caution (fifth, seventh, ninth,
etc."

Since this was Vidal's second yellow, he won't be suspended.

Happy with the overall performance from the team, especially in the first half. Showed plenty of heart and character, and I must say we looked very comfortable and good in an attacking sense with the 4-3-3. But once again a stupid error from one of our defenders gifts them two goals and we end up chasing a game. The red card for Chiellini was absolute bullshit. Ref killed the game as a spectacle and pretty much ruined our momentum.

Have to say I was very unimpressed with Real, they were decidedly average and I thought we were clearly the better team in the first half, and we still managed to create a few opportunities for ourself when we went down to 10 men.

Unless we beat Real next round, I have a feeling we will be playing EL football in February.

I hope Cristina Ronalda dies of AIDS.
That's Real right there and why I thought we would get atleast 4 points against them. Before I realised there was something wrong with our team, though.

This result still doesn't mean much. We really only need to beat you once and rely on the certainty of Madrid spanking you guys silly again.

Yea we dissapointed in not challenging madrid for the group but we'll scrape second.
You believe that. Real will do everything to beat us in Torino next game. This is all in the hands of Gala.

vidal was lucky to not got sent off with a dumbass tackle, chiello was fucked by the ref twice.
further Cacares was amazing. Gio is getting better and better. tevez should have scored. all others were normal.

Hmm, fairly close to what I had. Which none of our resident experts will agree with :D

Buffon 6
Caceres 6
Barzagli 6
Chiellini 4,5
Ogbonna 5,5
Vidal 5
Pirlo 5,5
Pogba 6,5
Marchisio 5,5
Tevez 5,5
Llorente 6

Bonucci 6
Asamoah 6
Giovinco 5,5

Anyway, I see a lot of people who are proud of how we performed last night. I'm not. This game was ours, but we really need to be a lot smarter if we want to win them.
And sure, the ref screwed up with Chiellini, but in reality we should have been a man down by half time.

Gazzetta's ratings are as bad as usual. In what parallel fucked up universe would Marchisio get better one than Vidal. Ridiculous.

Buffon 6
Cacares 6.5
Barzagli 6
Chiellini 5
Ogbonna 5.5
Pirlo 5.5
Vidal 6.5
Pogba 7
Marchisio 5
Llorente 6
Tevez 5.5

I expected total humiliation so am proud because the boys didn't allow it. Proud because Conte showed some guts. Proud because there is room for improvement & for the first time this season the coach acknowledged it.

We show guts when we're behind or everything is against us. Last night we should've showed guts right from the beginning till the end. In the second half Real sat deep and waited for counters, which is why we saw Bale for Benz. That gave us space going forward, unfortunately we did not exploit the chance.

Our defense in the second half did good.

In case you didn't notice we were playing 10v11 against a strong counter attack team.
