No it isn't. He wasn't the last man, and Ronaldo was drifting away from goal, not towards it. Moreoever, he was about 30 yards away from our goal. If we are to give red cards for such offences, then we might as well start dishing reds for pussy tackles in midfield ffs!

The Latino pansy brigade of Real Madrid were definitely doing some grade A acting and had the ref on their side the entire game.

I can't blame the lads, they left their soul on the pitch. Caceres was a jesus-like good.

Incan Jesus like!

I hope Cristina Ronalda dies of AIDS.

@Bianconero_Aus You just keep delivering don't you! :p

I muted my TV after the commentator called him Gianluca Buffon.

What I heard 'Gianluca' I got nightmares about Zambrutto.. :(

Byron Moreno would have been proud of that call
Now I'm just feeling violent! Nothing, nothing could be as bad as those games from 2002 WC... :/

am I the only one here who think that Chiellini deserve the red card??

he is the last man, moreover he lift up his elbow. the ref did it correctly, it is pure and very deserved a red card.
I starting to wonder that our chiello might end up like vidic
I think the "last man" rule should only really apply if it's a clear goalscoring opportunity, i.e. in the box. From what I remember he was too far out to really say he had a clear opportunity on goal. I could see it being a yellow for a raised arm, but nothing more than that.

For the billionth time, the rule isn't about "last man" but whether the player has stopped a CLEAR goal scoring opportunity - which that incident clearly wasn't.

It was a yellow card foul at worst. Ref bent us over and reamed us with that one.

Except he played Ronaldo onside for the first goal.
As did Barzagli.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Alex-444 again.
No other teams are protected by UEFA like Barca and Madrid are. Absolutely disgraceful.
UEFA-Liga.. I f*cking hate it with a passion, RONALDO/MESSI, MESSI/RONALDO (ok, in all fairness they're both gifted as all f*ck). However, the hundreds of bandwagoners that don their shirts is beyond a joke. It is like the Man U wave from the late 90's and into the 2000's all over again, I can't fathom why this is so (well I understand the commercial reasons, but it if screwing the soul of the game), does my head in big time.
