 @ people comparing ref mistakes in league games vs European play-offs.
You have 38 games in one, in the other if you're fucked like we were we have to wait another year ,by which time we will cool-off all the fire built up from this injustice.

UEFA should've implemented VAR before the leagues ffs.
No. As your argument suggest Champions League is more on the edge, more important and having a minor margin for errors, therefore you don't implement soemthing that isn't "perfected" yet. Domestic leagues are exactly the environment for early stage VAR, not CL.

"Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos will face no further Champions League punishment following Wednesday night’s victory over Juventus.

The Madrid captain – who was suspended for the tie for an accumulation of bookings – was present in the tunnel and club dressing room, allegedly breaking UEFA rules.

However, Cope report on Friday that the Spain international will not be sanctioned further and will be free to play in Madrid’s semi-finals.

There had been suggestions that the 32-year-old would be banned for one or two further matches due to breaching the terms of his suspension but this now no longer appears to be the case."
You don't say.

Both Ramos and Buffon should receive a continental suspension. Absurd if UEFA don't act on this. It will open a loophole of suspended players "avoiding pitch level".

FFS, perfect what? They can only perfect its speed, otherwise it's a pretty straight forward system.
CL is not more important than the fuckin World Cup mate.

PS UEFA doesn't even use Goal Line Technology, which is hilarious  Crooked man, I tell ya.

Exactly.

We are not talking about rocket science systems here.
More imperfect continue to be the final judgement after seeing the replay, than the replay system itself.

"It was a classic interpretable incident, you could give it and you could not give it. And when it’s 10 seconds from the end, if you’re smart, you don’t whistle and let the teams play for everything in extra-time"

This above is Andrea Pirlo, and he is right.

he went on to say:
“Buffon was angry, and in a moment like that you can say anything. He thought it was his last chance to win the Champions League, if they give a penalty against you out of nowhere you’re going to get angry.
“Maybe he went over the top, but I understand: it can happen that you react badly if you’re robbed in that way"

I expected a similar response from Ale.

That's one stupid rule anyway imo.

As long as they don't sneak onto the pitch waering another players shirt, i couldn't care less where they run around.
