This is exactly what will happpen

This will be a repeat of the Benfica second leg from 2014. All we needed was one measly goal and we blew it.
Let’s not forget we went into game starting a midfield trio of Pirlo, Pogba and Vidal. I mean I’d literally eat glass for one of those three in the midfield now, but more than anything, what does that reveal about our club philosophy that we couldn’t even Beat Benfica with them?

We are a club that always had genius midfielders and fantasistas, and are now reduced to freaking Bentancur.

Depressing.

Senile Capello should shut up. He had a dream team yet couldn't lead the team to score a single goal against Liverpool on the return leg after losing 1-2 in Anfield.
and he repeated ~the same vs arsenal a year later: a brave 0-0 at home with "let's not concede" in mind for the full 90 minutes of both 2nd legs :baus:

i was happy when we hired capello, but man, what a disappointment he turned out to be

No, Arsenal was different. We lost 2-0 in London then a 0-0 in Turin.

why are we expecting pirlo to field a different team than what he did in first leg?

clearly he continues doing same things over and over. he is not going to change anything, so prepare for more bentancur doing 300 million tikitak back passes to the back 3.

and even if it not, look at recent team. we have players getting injured per game. there are 4games left till second leg. so expect to lose another 2-3 starters
