Your having a laugh if you seriously think kolo was a brilliant defender before playing Juve. Arsenal were out of the contention of a CL place. Not totally but some places below. Also looking at Pre january till September. Arsenal couldnt even find there feet as a team, yet there wasnt a single player in the team who really played well. Lets face it the african nations cup is what made him become what he is prior to the Juve game. Its always easy leading a team with unknown "stars"."
I left the rest in there to see how you contradict yourself and so you can see how ridiculous your post was.
err that wasnt me pal, it was your arsenal buddy.
Some of your friends were, as well.
wow we are talking about early january here, since then his been formidable and before than his been formidable. Infact even in the CL he has shown his quality against strikers like sidney govou, carew and wiltord as they kept a clean sheet. So how you can pick one of his worst days and go and say his not really good is beyond me. Once again he his more consistent than kolo. Milan has conceded the third least goals in serie A and that can be put down to there attacking mentality, they are very much an attack minded team yet always manage to still concede quite a few goals. I think that does say quite a lot about them. As much as they are rivals to us juve fans, there are certain players who need to be admired and nesta does his job well.
Umm.. calm down there mate, where did I say Nesta was a bad defender? Umm... let me think... nowhere. It was just there to prove that no defender is formidable and that even a Nesta can have a bad day or week or month.
Heck i live in england and also tend to watch match of the day now and again so what i see is what I say.
Not all of my comments are directed at you, I was talking to Lebanese Azzuri. However, MOTD isn't really the best program to judge a player and the Arsenal games aren't always on there.
As for the ACN, please shed another example, thats awful the quality faces in ACN is nowhere as near as EPL, CL, or serie A
I only said that I saw him playing the African Cup of Nations not that the level there is any good (although you can't say Eboue's class wasn't wasn't sticking out there, I mean even the ref couldn't believe he was making those clean tackles). Anyway, as I've said before but not on this forum, the ACN is shit. You, on the other hand said this:
"Lets face it the african nations cup is what made him become what he is prior to the Juve game."
Would you care to explain to me what that comment meant if not that the ACN made Toure the defender he is today (which is a stupid comment, btw)?
