imo best players, in the first half(because second half all entire team s---ed) where zambro and mutu, they where doing in the left side but i dont know what happened at half time, seemed as capello was in toilet the entire breack because when second half started it all went from the same way as after fabregas had scored. we lost our heads, NO GAMEPLAN, nothing. and even worse, cap made stupid subs. why he took out mutu and trez and LEFT IBRA ON THE PITCH. ibra was having SO bad game, i mean trez can score from a half of a chanse if he gets support from midfield, but no, cap takes him out and leaves the worst finisher on the pitch?
I really hope ibra wont play second leg, or if he plays, he has to play well, he was total joke in england.

DP wouldn't have changed anything if we played with those damned long balls.
Pele' and Maradona wouldn't be able to play well with that disgraceful tactics.

I really, really would like to believe that. But there is absolutely nothing in all of our matches under Capello that indicate we would ever be capable of being aggressive and taking a lead to a team. The only time we've been semi-successful at that is when we go up two goals against good competition in the Fall/early part of the season in Serie A. Everything in the CL and in the later half of the Serie A season against good competition has been a struggle to win by one goal under Capello.
So while going out 4-1 like we did against Madrid in 2003 is mathematically possible, there's no example of this team ever doing anything like that under Capello.

Oggi la Juventus si è ritrovata al Sisport dopo la sconfitta di ieri ad Highbury contro l'Arsenal: Fabio Capello ha fatto una lunga disamina della sfida contro gli inglesi senza peraltro alzare il tono della voce.
Intanto, buone notizie dall'infermieria: dopo l'infortunio patito contro la Roma, Alex Del Piero ha ripreso a correre, pur senza calciare il pallone. Un suo recupero per il ritorno contro i "Gunners" pare sempre difficile ma ora c'è qualche speranza in più.

Oggi la Juventus si è ritrovata al Sisport dopo la sconfitta di ieri ad Highbury contro l'Arsenal: Fabio Capello ha fatto una lunga disamina della sfida contro gli inglesi senza peraltro alzare il tono della voce.
Intanto, buone notizie dall'infermieria: dopo l'infortunio patito contro la Roma, Alex Del Piero ha ripreso a correre, pur senza calciare il pallone. Un suo recupero per il ritorno contro i "Gunners" pare sempre difficile ma ora c'è qualche speranza in più.

I really think we are a team that is built, coached, and optimized for long, gruelling competitions like the Campionato. It's all about metering out your energies and getting the best output for minimum input.
But in dual-round elimination tournaments like the CL, minimum input can never do. Wenger is right in thinking that elimination rounds are won on the first leg. It shows the need to approach a CL match with a do-or-die mentality where you have to bring your best forward, make no mistakes, and play the perfect game on cue.
IMO, Juve isn't set up to take the game to an opponent. We let it come to us, and we try to turn that to our advantage. Problem is with only two rounds to prove yourself, time runs out and it's too late when you realize that you cannot play on your heels and let the other team take their game to you. We always find ourselves behind and trying to figure out a way to get back in it with time running out.
