Both teams had their full sides and are equiped with attacking midfielders that have the ability to change the game in a moment. Juve does not.
We'll have Nedved back and Mutu could play behind the forwards.

Please, not even the A-Team could get us out of this one, (Capello is indeed a 'crazy fool' though)

Don't bother getting your hopes up, you'll be even more disappointed.

imo best players, in the first half(because second half all entire team s---ed) where zambro and mutu, they where doing in the left side but i dont know what happened at half time, seemed as capello was in toilet the entire breack because when second half started it all went from the same way as after fabregas had scored. we lost our heads, NO GAMEPLAN, nothing. and even worse, cap made stupid subs. why he took out mutu and trez and LEFT IBRA ON THE PITCH. ibra was having SO bad game, i mean trez can score from a half of a chanse if he gets support from midfield, but no, cap takes him out and leaves the worst finisher on the pitch?

I really hope ibra wont play second leg, or if he plays, he has to play well, he was total joke in england.

Well, I'll start being depressed on Wednesday night then.... Giving up without a fight would be the worst thing we could do. Yes, even worse than yesterday's game.

The entire team was a joke in England.
DP wouldn't have changed anything if we played with those damned long balls.
Pele' and Maradona wouldn't be able to play well with that disgraceful tactics.
Forwards are to blame when we waste chances. Yesterday we had NO chances, therefore the entire team and its coach are to blame.

What are you talking about? Mutu was one of the better players in the mdifield. Granted he is wasted on the wing. Viera was playing central defence and Emerson was a ghost. Camo decided to see how many fouls he could get before being tossed. Zlatan was charitable to the Arsenal counter attack. Thuram couldnt "control the arms". Zebina was shite. Buffon was his usual greatness but was not responsible for the goals. And Old Pinch Face just stood their and let everything go to crap. It was obvious to anyone who saw the game that Juve's two best players were Mutu and Buffon.
indeed, mutu tried his best..

I wouldn't bet money on us either BUT

- If Deportivo overcame a 1-4 against AC Milan after they were completely outplayed in S.Siro........

- If Liverpool, a mediocre team IMO, scored three times against AC Milan in 6 minutes and eventually went to win the Cup

THEN.....we have a slight chance.

And I don't see why we shouldn't fight on Wednesday... We got nothing to lose.
I really, really would like to believe that. But there is absolutely nothing in all of our matches under Capello that indicate we would ever be capable of being aggressive and taking a lead to a team. The only time we've been semi-successful at that is when we go up two goals against good competition in the Fall/early part of the season in Serie A. Everything in the CL and in the later half of the Serie A season against good competition has been a struggle to win by one goal under Capello.

So while going out 4-1 like we did against Madrid in 2003 is mathematically possible, there's no example of this team ever doing anything like that under Capello.

4 - 1

we will win with this scoreline! I am not joking! We will do it, cause Cap has to change his tactics, and he will do it right!

Del Piero ha ripreso a correre
29 03 2006

------------------------------------------

DP has started to train without ball.. there is a small hope that he could be availible..

Hopefully DP will be fit for at least a part of the game.
We should stop this freakin' Dp vs Ibra war and hope that everyone has a great game on Wednesday cuz it's the only thing that could make us go thru

Del Piero: "Al ritorno metteremo in campo tutto"
29 03 2006
---------------------------------------------------------

DP say´s that we don´t have alternatives, next wednesday we have to give all what we have and even more to overturn the resultat and go to the next round

Game Over I think. 10% for a miracle.
To be honest we are not so good in european competitions. if we cannot win champions league with this squad. when we will do it so?
I really think we are a team that is built, coached, and optimized for long, gruelling competitions like the Campionato. It's all about metering out your energies and getting the best output for minimum input.

But in dual-round elimination tournaments like the CL, minimum input can never do. Wenger is right in thinking that elimination rounds are won on the first leg. It shows the need to approach a CL match with a do-or-die mentality where you have to bring your best forward, make no mistakes, and play the perfect game on cue.

IMO, Juve isn't set up to take the game to an opponent. We let it come to us, and we try to turn that to our advantage. Problem is with only two rounds to prove yourself, time runs out and it's too late when you realize that you cannot play on your heels and let the other team take their game to you. We always find ourselves behind and trying to figure out a way to get back in it with time running out.

If we score in the first 10/15 minutes, then it'll be interesting and Arsenal's legs will start to shake a little bit.

Also, our stadium is going to be sold out.

I expect full commitment from the players, but I don't think it will be enough.

The only thing that might stop Arsenal is the state of the pitch.
