Capello believes in ‘miracle’ Tuesday 4 April, 2006

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus boss Fabio Capello has insisted that his side can complete a ‘miracle’ comeback against Arsenal on Wednesday night.

Although the tactician has conceded that his outfit face a massive task following the 2-0 first leg loss, the Coach maintains that his outfit can reach the Champions League semi-finals.

“Tomorrow’s match will be the most difficult result to overturn since I have been here, but we can do it,” he claimed.

“We are convinced that we can achieve something exceptional and anything can happen because we think we are good enough to beat Arsenal.

“I believe in miracles.”

WHEN A COACH SAY THAT HE BELIEVE IN MIRACLES THEN HE GOT NO PLAN , HE IS WAITING FOR A MIRACLE FROM THE SKY LIKE IN BREMEN MATCH WHICH I DONT THINK WILL HAPPEN

I have to disagree here Nicola...there will be NO surprises tomorrow :

1) CapeLOL will go with his usual tactics and played-out formation

2) Arsenal will score

3) we will not

4) we will lose !!!

No surprises there, boys and girls

Seriously this is just lame. We need a new mentality - We've hit a comfort zone that has our players believe they are the best. It's 10 years since we last won the CL. We have been dumped out of it by sluggishness a couple of times! I can't remember the poster but after the first Arsenal game someone posted to the effect that the Arsenal supporters did not jeer him, they were sympathetic towards him! That pretty much describes our CL debacle in recent years. Am not expecting a miracle tonight.
What we need is a complete shakedown! Let the triad go, try something different. We are too scared to take risks.

Hi All,

I'm new here. I'm a Juve fan but I hate it when people say that yesterday Milan won through luck. I mean, they played good football, something I always wish Juve can play but never seem to do. The only times Milan played badly was when they were playing like Juve, using long-balls, losing possession in ridiculous manner and being generally uncreative. Other than that they played well, they attacked as a team and tried to re-capture the ball as a team. Something that I wish I could see Juve doing. Shevchenko was close to his own box at some points. Will Zlatan ever do it? Or Trez? The only luck I saw was in Bremen not in Milan.

As for tonight's match, like any fan I wish Juve would win and deliver. I hope they do. But realistically speaking it's a very far-fetched and remote possibility. It can happen, and I can win the lottery too. But it's wishful thinking more than anything else.

Over and out.

Capello Warns Arsenal-Be Prepared For Something Exceptional

Fabio Capello has riled his troops ahead of the 'mission impossible’ Juventus face tomorrow when they need to overturn the 2-0 loss suffered at Highbury against Wenger’s Gunners in order to get into the Champions League semifinals.

“We can make it, we are convinced we can do something exceptional. The task is not easy, but everything can happen in football, and we will enter the pitch convinced of our strength,” the Juventus coach told reporters this afternoon.

“The attitude has to be the right one from the start. And we have to remain in condition throughout the match. In the first leg we were tired during the second half. But now I see that my team is fit,” he added

I HOPE THIS IS TRUE BUT I DOUBT IT

If only Del Piero had started our chances of winning could have been greatly increased, since he's the kind of player that can instantly turn a game around, hopefully Nedved though will be at his best aswell as Treze and Zlatan.
