Good atmsophere from Bianconieri last night. Will we be expecting anything as such in Turin?

I understand you are upset by your coaches tactic's.

But you were beaten by a very, very young Arsenal side who when finished cementing toghether could, dare I say it create a mini-dynasty in England.
This is going to be hard however with that russian in west london bankrolling the moscow-state-circus.

Moment of the match for me was definately when Fabregas scored and Henry too or when Toure pulled off arguably one of the best tackles of the season on Ibrahimovic. The chip that you missed in the last few minutes was hugely important for us as well. Shows the Importance of the away goal.

I was very pleased to here that Arsene, Thierry Henry, Kolo Toure, Fabregas had not in any way suggest the tie is over. IT IS ONLY HALF TIME - DONT LISTEN TO NEDVEDS MIND GAMES- IT IS NOT OVER UNTIL THE OLD LADY OF ITALIAN FOOTBALL SINGS HATE SONGS!!! HAHA. It cannot be argued however that we haven't got ourselves into a fantasticly strong position - but I always want them to remain CAUTIOUSLY confident.

Yeah this arsenal side is very good but i feel if we were better rested and with our captain and golden ball winner we would have been a very different team. It only takes one moment to score a goal and they give our side a totally different dimension that we were clearly lacking. Also the fact we were so tired showed .. in the first half we were ok, playing solid for the most part but were were over run in the second and that had to with the fact we had played roma over the weekend with a man down while Arsenal rested with their game postponed.

there is still alot to play for and I agree with your thoughs of Nedved's statements as they are only to lull a false sense of security but hey we need everything we can get. I think this Arsenal preformance will be hard to repeat in Turin and Juve will be the better team in the next leg but whether or not that is enough to turn the tie around is to be seen.

My strategy for the return leg, Yeah I know, Capello won't play this.

nice

did u do this on excel?

hardcore..

Hopefully ADP will be back though but nice .. it might look like that but maby

------Ibra---Trez

Nedved----Emo-----Gianni-----Mutu

with emo and gianni droping back, emerson taking the ball out of defense... and mutu left on the right, not as trequartista as u suggested cuz cap won't do that. Nedved will go to the left and move into the center to take shots .. and I hope he has his shooting boots on come wednesday cuz we need goals and he will draw the defense out ot close him down...

I would love to see a Nedved piledrive into the top right hand corner of the net in the first 10 min of the game .. that would cetainly shake things up!

I would hardly start using the term "dynasty" yet when we're talking about a 5th place EPL club and a shellacking of a club who honestly didn't deserve to make it past Werder Bremen.

If you honestly believe that this tie is not over, you haven't followed Capello's track record in the CL for Juventus very long. This is a squad that hasn't beaten a club by more than one goal in the CL since Rapid Wien.

My recommendation for you guys, and you deserve to go through with your play of course, is that you hardly use this pairing as any sort of confidence booster. I honestly doubt this Juventus club could make it past Villareal or Benfica either.

yep, excel :D

I know it won't happen that's why I said Cap won't play this formation. 4-1-2-1-2 or 4-3-3 is the way to go. :(

The problem is we don't have a playmaker. I dno't know how effective Nedved will be in the middle, perhaps evne more effective due to his age. However i think capello will stick with him on the left and put Giannichedda.

Somehow i don't feel optimistic for the qualification. Forget 3-0 and 4-1

lets hope they can end the 90 minutes 2-0 which is more possible but still unlikely with the team arsenal have. I hope they go straight to penalties which is like (heads or tail) after the 90 minutes. I dno't know if that is possible though.

also...sundays game takes extra importance due to some key players missing for next weeks champions league match. Time to experiment.

To bad we don't have many choices.

i think we got it wrong wen we playd with a near best side v ROma for the gain of 1 point and tiredness in the legs and injury to Dp which took out our bench tottally! Also the arrgance we showed on the ground was embaressing!

i agree with you. I think the fatigue was the reason that Juventus seemed they didn't wanna win it, or better yet every 50 50 ball was won by arsenal. This i think is the main reason why they did so poorly. The fact that at half time they played somewhat better (yet still ugly) confirms it as well.

i still can't get over the fact we lost out on so many balls and made so many shitty passes in midfield. There is a reason we bought Emerson and Vieira and losing balls and making bad passes is not it. They should have dominated and I think Vieira has only played a handful of games that live up to his potential for us.. an none recently. Gianni would have fought much harder... tooth and nail against Arsenal midfield and even if we lost we would not have been so dominated. Last seaon our midfield sucked against liverpool but we had excuses that EMo was hurt and Blasi sucks ... now what can we say. Emo and Vieira let us down with mediocre play. It disappoints me to see our players not fully take advantage of their potential and fight.

I hope Gianni and Emo give everything ... cuz it is really the last big game of our season and they as well as all our players need to leave it all on the field. I want to see them coughing and on their knees from fatigue at the end of the game instead of talking about how bad they played.

Juve players must come to the match knowing that they will win, mentality and attitude is important. Strike hard in the first 15 mins and hope for a goal.

a lighting first half is need. We don't need a miracle, we just need determination and a belief.

your right and only capello could have get them to have given their 150 percent and apparently he didn't . I think the players should prioritize and play smart (which is something that comes from within). Obvisouly Juventus has a taem which plays hard and thats about it and yesterday they showed that they were very weak. It shouldn't happen, nothing else is expected from them. Look at milan, they have four players that can spread out balls Kaka, Pirlo, Rui Costa and Seedorf. Juventus has the more physical ones and even they are not doing their job. Ibrahimovic was pitiful and Camo who is our only creative force was horrible. What do you do then? We need players.
I envy Inter who have Stankovic (and probably the only player on that team worthy of a praise). He plays both sides and is technical and works hard. Nedved is not what he used to be. What do we do now?
This team has to spend. They are playing in the Chapons league, and these are mistakes are unforgivable. I mean, this is the team that sold baggio if the sale of henry could be considered more understandable. What the hell is the traid thinking.

I just hope thye play calm. Since i can't speak for Camo (since he won't play) at least Mutu and Ibrahimovic.

Do we need a miracle? Nope. For starters, we should play with concentration and the goal of actually dominating an opponent.

Juve did not play a bad first half at Highbury, Arsenal had a hard time getting in our penalty area. Unfortunately, when they did, they scored...
The second half was much worse. Lack of determination, some bad timed passes and a well-deserved second goal for the gunners.

But there is no need to be hopeless: This result suggests (even to Capello), that the team must go for it from the very beginning. We have nothing to lose, with a bit of luck and an early goal we can do a lot of harm to this excellent Arsenal-side.

To be honest: Personally, I don't think that we will make it. But the task is not an impossible one.
