Everyone makes mistakes and maby he was planning on Ibra getting rest for Arsenal hoping he would have a big game... If you look at teams that beat arsenal big forwards normally do well against them in terms of play and knocking down balls. Even though i worship DP as a god i thought it would make sense playing ibra. The problem was no one was whipping balls in or acting like a playmaker for Ibra and Trez. You can't just give Ibra the ball and expcect him to score or make a play when he is surrounded with no help. I was honestly hoping DP would play nedved's position like he did last year when Nedved was out in a 433 .. that way he would take on players and playmake with ibra in the box supporting trez and taking on senderos like drogba did. That is how u beat them. But Ibra was not the problem the fact we could not work our way up the field and beat our man was the problem.. without DP and Nedved there was no service aside from Zambrotta. Camo is great but too slow and sometimes does to technical things when a simple one two or pass would do the trick.
Agree 100%.
I read enough "DP here, Ibra there" stuff.
The problem is that we have no idea on how to play the ball in the midfield.
Things were great as long as team was 100% in form and Ibra was magic.
Now that those are gone, we're a boring team with no idea on how to play.
I saw Milan today. They played Lyon, which is far better organized and stronger than Arsenal. They played their game and almost got a win, especially in the first-half. That's the difference. Vieira-Emerson are great....if you have a Kaka in front of them.
