I am actually, for several reasons. First of all, Zlatan needs to learn to play cleanly. You don't see any of our other players doing what he does and neither should he. The whole thug mentality is just tiring and he should cut it out. It's alright to try hard, to win the ball off defenders and so on, but do it without drawing fouls.

Secondly, since Capello refuses to bench Zlatan, this is basically the only way he will not play. And I don't think he should play every single match, so far he's played more matches than all the other forwards (and more minutes per match as well I'm quite certain). If you score 10 times in 13 matches, you have a strong case to be untouchable (Trez), but Zlatan is nowhere near as effective and I think Mutu/DP should take his place now and then.
i dont know how capello's mind works and discussing putting Ibra on the bench is a different case here. U expect a player of his calibre to be at least more proffessional in his approach to the game. His attitude is just dispecable, he never shakes hands with any of the opponents when he fouls them, and always trying to do these cheap shots and he is the first one to start a fight.
I didnt see that last year, or mybe not as much as this year at least.
Capello needs to deal with his attitude, and confusing it with passion for the game is wrong as well.
Cap had the same problem as cassano in his time with roma.

this guy zlatan had the same problems when he was at ajax. fact. he just hasn't matured as a professionel role model yet.

old habits diehard. Face it, he's a talented primadonna. :D

I hope it does not disintegrate the harmony within the team though.

are u still a prospect at 24?

bottom line, his 'massive skills' are overrated, his flicks and tricks very rarely come off,and when they do, so what, they don't add anything to the team, his passing skills are limited, his shooting is worse and he has a temperament from hell.

I don't think people are rejoicing that he was sent off, it came too late in the game to make a difference but he got what he deserved, no doubt.

imo he's not the superman he's made out to be, more like a liability.

unfortanately looks like cap will persist with this supreme 'striker' all season. yee ha

good point indeed, lets hope we will improove,
we can improove,we werent perfect, but we can do much better esp our dynamic duo in the midfield
Vieira on top of his form is a hugely impressive, dynamic, influential player but I'm not convinced Emerson is.

He's slow, holds the ball too long, passing isn't great, not much of an attacking threat, quite cumbersome on the ball, he's far from the rock he's meant to be, and is he really 29? He plays as though 10 years older!

well this is what i said earlier...

people dont need to get stupid behavoiurs toward zlatan... im not a buig fan of him, but hey, the guy have skill and have saved our ass in some occations...

being happy for him being red carded is a stupid behaviour, very stupid one. Like i said before.. if he is playing in every game,, is not his fault, but capello´s...and i even blame cappelo for zlatan´s sometimes sluggish form.

about the DP issue, well yeah cappelo is being unfair with him and with Mutu too.

Not in the mood to write too much. So i'll keep it simple.

The good:

- Chiellini
- Zambrotta
- Trezeguet.
- New formation.
- Good play, relative to our standards.
- More aggresive.
- Nedved's awakening.

The bad:

- Back to old formation midway.
- Zlatan.
- Mutu still bench.
- Lacklustre periods, after a good patch.
- Leaving it so late.
- Almost giving away the result.

The ugly:

- Zlatan's red card(Though I was almost glad he got that)
- The goal conceded, so foolishly.
- Camoranesi's situation ??
- Set piece weakness
- Eli Wallach

You're taking it the wrong way. I don't think people are genuinely happy he got expelled, it's not about that. But if that's the only way he'll be left out of the squad, then it may be a blessing in disguise. And considering we have too many forwards, this is no loss to the team.

Am I the only one that absolutely can not wait for DP to beat the total goals record? :)

Nope.. :)

Same here.. though I wish Capello would use his resources more wisely, next time.. Alex is not a playmaking AMC..

exactly, we are not able to make presure. I mean the goal of trez was our only chance to score after the 1-0.
The game was at home, a great home team must allways be able to make presure and create a lot of chances
Thats what I'm talking about, we play home, we should give them no mercy, no matter who the team is, Bayern, Man Utd, Chelsea, Madrid, doesn't matter we should attack and win like a real team.
