keep cool guys, as I said, we will win all the remaining games in the group stage.
Hats off to Allegri for moving to a 442 in such a critical game, hopefully a first step towards a 433.
My takings from the game:
- great reaction after going down 1-2: hopefully it will be a milestone to remember in our European history;
- the midfield played better then in the previous games;
- the 4 back were ok, considering it was a first;
- Lichtsteiner is not up to the job anymore; please let him go, at 3.5 millions per season we can do a lot better
- there seems to be a positive competition upfront and the players who come from the bench seem to have an impact on games
- Vidal seems to have gone totally wankerish, hopefully he will get back to his normal standards soon otherwise we did miss a big chance to cash on him last summer

I just can't believe it ..
I can't believe Padoin only has 3 votes in the poll. So underrated, poor simone the joker.

- Team played alot better. There were movments, there were passes. Tevez and Morata drifted out wide, Pogba spent time on the wing helping Asamoah. We have finally succeeded in building a constructed attack. It was a plesure.

- Vidal can't play the TQ role. Pereyra should be the one playing that role, at least untill the real Vidal comes back. Pereyra has a very direct style of play that can really fit that role.

- Marchisio was great (bar the stupid miss).

- Morata, llorente, Tevez, Marchisio, Vidal should all learn to finish better. All of them had clear chances to score, we should have scored at least 2 of those.

I usually don't nag a lot and a win is always a win for me no matter how, but some individual performances are really questionable and Juve were this close from elimination in just the 4th round.

Allegri was sublime, no question here, although the only mistake IMO is starting Morata, I still think Llorente is more lethal if given services like last night specially in the first half, Morata can be useful coming off the bench like Deneb mentioned last night if I'm not mistaken.

Tevez should seriously be more comfortable, he panics too much for someone with his experience, I was even wondering last night if he's really the typical number 10 player because to be a number 10 you have to be smooth with the ball and flexible mentally and Tevez is certainly not, specially in Europe.

Vidal, I know he's not 100% but at the same time he doesn't seem so much focused recently [not referring to the penalty] but general performance.

Chiellini, how many times has he fucked up on European stages? Bonucci wasn't better either but he's much more comfortable with the ball than Chiellini is.

Allegri has to work on man marking it's ridiculous to have the best defense in Italy and one of the best in the world and yet concede silly goals.

If in Malmo chances will be wasted like in Turin, then the maximum I can see is a draw there.

Nope, had a few friends around for dinner and then watched the game together. Funny thing was that because of the big storm, the electricity went a couple of times and after it came back we scored both goals: it was a sing from above! :jvefan:

I can't manage to go as often as in the past, it's also increasingly difficult to get tickets for the big games, even if I am a member of a Juventus Club DOC but there is a priority list and I am number 751 in the list .... Having said that, managed to get tickets for Malmoe and Palermo. I would also have been able to go to the Parma game but couldn't be arsed TBH

Nice :tup: I wish I could watch Juve in a normal time-zone, would be lovely. Is there a rain cloud all over Italy at the moment or something?

There's that and there's the fact that they differentiate 'among the teams' and "among the teams in question" which IMO means that we are ahead as of right now.

Who knows though when it comes to UEFA.
yup. this is the thing i dont understand. its too confusing :D

Well I think that this was his first miss.Do you know maybe which penalties Vidal miss.I thought that he scored every penalty.
He missed a penalty at 0:0 against Parma in round 1 of season 2012/13 (we won the match 2:0), and he missed against Cagliari in the same season, round 18. He missed at 1:0 for Cagliari, but we won the match 3:1.

My stats threads came handy for this information: http://forum.juventuz.org/threads/36119-Juventus-2012-2013-stats :D

I agree 100% with you.
God, i was so furious by how they scored the two goals yesterday, that i couldn't even feel happy when we ended winning the game. :D
We need to fix the man marking ASAP, especially when we are gonna face Atletico.
And how is possible that a team like Olympiacos are more clinical than our players? is it a mental complex?

undecided between Pirlo and Pogba for MOM...while Pogba was great going forward, Pirlo had his best game under Allegri and was even breaking up play! I think the Italian just about edges it for me.
