When you think of it, we were out at 1-2. Great response from the team and we really deserved this win in the end.

Vidal penalty could haunt us, but I'm confident Atletico will crush Olympiacos at home. They need that win.

I was Whatsapping with my Milanista and Bayern fan friends during the game, when Oly scored their 2nd all those whistle sounds came back to back (my phone is Samsung), from different people with "hahahahapuhahaha" messages, we scored 2 in 3 minutes and I replied with one single message: "suuuushhhht"

Felt awesome :D

Our attack needs a whole new make over, sell all our attackers none of them are clinical enough to rely on for goals. Olympiakos scored 2 goals from half chances today. We scored 3 goals from about 7 very good chances where the attacker is favoured to score every time and only scored 1 more goal than them.

Tevez not good enough at the highest level to be relied upon for goals, Llorente is a good player but i dont think the team plays to his strengths so he doesn't get many good chances to score. Morata we lose on him either way, if he turns out to be good Madrid will just buy him back and if he turns out to be bad we are stuck with him.

We need a proper no.9 to put the ball in the back of the net and some attacking midfielders to create and score chances. We currently have none of those 2 things that we need. Our board has taken too many shortcuts in the attacking department when it comes to attackers.
Nah, our attack is good enough, our defence is shit and needs to be sold.Every mediocre team are scoring against us from one or two decent attacks.Defence is and was a problem, they should be sold, all of them replaced.

Guys, can you please explain why Vidal's PK miss is so crucial? We're still ahead of Oly right now.

I know Vidal has been reliable from the spot, but I'd like to see Pirlo take our penalties. Vidal was clearly lacking in confidence all match, hence why he didn't shoot when Tevez put him through on goal and he tried to give it back. A player in good form and confident would have shot. I just had a feeling he was going to miss the pen due to his overall poor form
I have the same feeling .Anyway it is the first penalty that he miss.He replaced Pirlo in that role since Pirlo missed two penalties. It's happening.Robben missed the penalty in the finals against Chelsea and everybody else Messi ,etc... I agree about his lack of confidence. That's why he was so nervous.

That table is based on goal difference. In the end head-to-head is what matters, not GD. If Vidal scored the pen we would hold the head-to-head advantage over Olympiacos. Instead they have it.

I guess having this below the table makes more sense. :D

* Standings are provisional until all group matches have been played.

actually it's his 3rd miss for us overall. Scored 14, missed 3.
