A
At 2-0, we had 3 players pressing their goalie and almost scored. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing lol.

But overall, clearly the best performance of the season.
Thats a good thing. According to medical textbooks it means that the Allegri virus is losing its potency.

If our defense is like this and we get Ramsey - Pjanic - Rabiot/Matuidi + DC on the biggest games, i think we're good to go.

I liked our defensive game all contributed and seemed to be improving.
MDL was first to every ball while Cuadrado had a great game.
Higuain played well and should he not had a goal and assist my vote would go for Cuadrado as MOTM.

I was very happy to see Dybala assisting Ronaldo - I just hope his form isnt temporary

Good result in the end. Mediocre opposition but some things went well. Bernardeschi with his first end product in how long? I expected him to sky it as usual but good finish. Also Ronaldo seemed to get annoyed after missing that second chance and went up a gear.

We seem to be better second half in games right now. But really this was just a standard CL home game where we should win and mostly stay in first or second gear doing it.
I think that's being kind to them. Weakest opponent we've encountered so far this season. Which says a lot considering we've already played the likes of Spal, Brescia & Verona.

We were quite good though. Confidence seems to be building.

Most impressed with Cuadrado & Higuain.

I'm disappointed with Matuidi and Alex Sandro tbh, but they were one of the best performers so far this season, so it's all good.
matuidi worked his ass off as per usual. sandy kept havertz completely quiet, and that was good enough from him too.

i couldn't really find bad performances in juve. berna was very quiet, ronaldo isn't as sharp as usual lately (i bet he'll start to shine in january-february), szczesny was a spectator, and even they had okay matches themselves.

Both made tons of misplaced passes and it was up to Leverkusen inability to create something upfront that didn't make it more obvious.
