This wasn't our team running out of gas. Something must have happened during the half time talk. I really would love to find out what was said and why the team came out like we had already lost the match.
It's pretty predictable to me. We played with a lot of intensity, especially due to enthusiasms and hunger to win the game. Allegri foresaw this and knew that we'd eventually run out of gas. Real Madrid beat Atletico several times this way, the perfect example was the final of a couple of years ago where they defeated them after extra time. Although it is a really tough comparison to make, but this is usually the way we approach games in the league. We let opponents run out of gas and hit them late in the game. Allegri told the team to chill the fuck down because, as things seemed in the first half, it wasn't unthinkable that this game could go to extra time. It is strange how things went from there because we are usually pretty comfortable when soaking up attacks. We gambled on taking the lead somewhere in the second half, however, we conceded pretty early and it demoralized us completely. What happened the 30/35 minutes thereafter is in no need of evaluation. Was it a bad approach? not sure. The only issue i have with it is that you can't allow Kroos and especially Modric, or any other world class midfielder to have so much time and space in possession. I didn't see Real Madrid give Dybala for example much space or time to move freely around their box.

We as fans and the players themselves put immense pressure on this game and in the end this killed us. We were never favorites against an opponent who won the title twice in the last three years and simply have a habit of winning these finals. I hope the team stays together but it is really difficult to predict how we will react from this defeat mentally. This might set us back to square one or might make us stronger and more mentally prepared. Only time will tell.

Hmm even the finals that we won were not really wins: non exisent Pk in 85 cause the ref felt sorry for our dead fans and Pk shootout in 96.

What is wrong with our club, who cursed us?

We shouldn't be switching formations mid season. The management clearly had no idea what formation or game we were going to play when they went on a mad recruitment spree.

Benatia may have been a good deal but that is exactly the problem with our recruitment.

We are not buying players we need we are buying players because the deal seems good and the player seems good without taking into account the other positions need much more attention than defence but hey we got a good deal for Benatia so it doesn't matter.
Yeah, that's been a problem for I don't know how many transfer windows. It's time to buy strategically rather waiting for bargains.

Dude have some respect for those fans. I get your pissed off but those people had names and families and are forever apart of Juventus.

Piece of shit

This poster is true

You can go to cry in the mountains of Austria
I don't like mountains. I mean, they are beautiful on pictures, but I hardly ever go there. But I hardly ever cry, and yesterday I was way too drunk to go on a mountain, so... ;)

The key to Real Madrid winning CL was how they utilised Ronaldo. They dint play him every game. They rested him adequately so that he could be fresh for the big games and it paid dividends for them.

I don't know guys and it may sound stupid but we should do the same with Buffon next year. Play Chesney in the league and play Buffon for the cup competitions like how Barca used Bravo and Ter Stegen. I'm only suggesting this because Buffon will have a fresher mind going into cup games. Less mental fatigue even if he's not physically fatigued that much.

This implies Gigi is the problem or was at fault. Definitely not.

The key to us losing it was in the fact that our front 4 have played non stop for half a year. Higuain has played every single game, Dybala has been injured, Alves has been playing a whole lot. Same with our mids, bar Marchisio no one can guarantee quality.

No you're misinterpreting.

Gigi's only motivation right now is Champions league so why not rest him as much as we can so he can approach the CL with a fresh mind.

Ronaldo wasn't a 'problem' for Madrid either when they decided to give him adequate rest.
